The Golden Girls was part of my childhood memories. I Grew up watching them. I imagine them having cheesecake in heaven right now. 😥 Rest In Peace Estelle, Rue, Betty and Bea. ❤️😥🥺 miss you girls.
No wonder Bea was pissed! They were all bloody glamorous! Rue was gorgeous even at this age and Betty looked radiant. Silly interviewer!!! I love these ladies!

I wouldn't want to interview them. I would want to give them a big hug and thank them for being a friend. I'm going through a divorce right now, and my eldest child won't see mee. But when I start watching GG scenes, I never can help bursting out in laughter, no matter how shitty my day was.
You'll never see a better cast of actors and VERY TALENTED one's at that in one show. It simply was pure gold what these women created together. Sure the writers need there "kudos" to. But you've got to have the right actors to pull it off. Otherwise, it's just words on paper.
They were in their 60s on the show but seemed younger like in their 50s they way they acted ! They were so funny always had me laughing . Still watch them on Cable TV and DVDS Netflix and they have helped me with my depression as their comedy boosted lifted me up !
This is a good, in-depth at the same time well structured interview for morning television. Seems generally to have gone down hill since the 1980s. A vast of morning television interviews are shallow with a too focused eye on the time and selling of a single point. This video was a Breath of fresh air

David Hartman’s questions weren’t all that good or insightful - as evidenced in Bea’s facial expressions. But it was nice seeing them together here. Loved Rue’s comment at the end about how good he looks without makeup on. 😁

Yes, the interviewer was slow and seemed not good prepared. But in1987, 35 years ago!, life itself was slower. Only Betty was already quick and brightminded enough to fit in our time. Maybe that is the reason why she could go on working practically till her death. Because of her high intelligence she knew how to keep the attention of much younger

Omg his questions are painful to listen to. Implying that these mega talented women are old, washed up, not glamorous? And I think he needed an interpreter. Get to the point and set a more casual, relaxed mood. This was uncomfortable.

What I got from it is that Bea was annoyed at herself for saying something so cliche. From Betty, I heard the word 'wonderful' so I'm gonna guess she said, "That's wonderful" first and then, "I'm going to do that in needlepoint." Betty was apparently big into needlepoint as a hobby. And at the same time, Rue answered Bea's question and said "Yes darlin'." It's hard to hear Rue's complete statement because Betty is also talking at the same time though.

Funny betty was supposed to be an old lady back then but that was over 30 years ago and she's still around at 99 (January 2021)
