One thing, or algorithm or another brought me to your channel. I’ve watched all your discussions with Renaud (and others he has done) and whilst I liked Amouage I was never willing to buy them as I find them expensive. Here in Australia they go for $500! Renaud is such a likeable and passionate individual, a young, ambitious fella for whom hard work is paying off and he has convinced me. Tobacco Royal, anyone. Many thanks for all your work on this channel, it was hard to find you with all the pantry droppers winning the algorithm work but you’ve got a gem here. Namaste!
@@Persolaise thank God for that! It is interesting how UA-cam works, it took me about a month to get through or away from the “populist” part of UA-cam till it finally brought me to your channel. We live in an era with way too many top 10 list and whatnot. 🙏🙏🙏
Amouage products are always impressive in their quality and creativity but these interviews are even more delightful. Loving how they are exploring new directions, mindfulness not just for the sake of it and also managing to pay respect to their past along the way. 👏
Thank you for this 2nd part! I enjoyed it very much. You make a great team Renaud and you. Renaud's extensive replies to your questions and his poised and calm personality made this moment very enjoyable. I especially loved the "archeological findings" (stunning bottle!) , the attar and ingredients part. Hope to visit Oman and Amouage one day. Also looking forward to the next releases. In the meanwhile, I would love a part 3!
Congratulations on your 300 episodes Dariush! All the best and let's hope for a 1000 episode and many more! And thank you again to both for this fantastic interview!!!
I just came across this video, and I'm very happy that things about the old attars were mentioned. I hope Mr. Salmon will bring back and maintain the quality of Tribute and Honor attars from the past. Not that we can get them easily in North America haha but it will be amazing to bring back those absolute peak of Amouage back to life!
My pleasure.@@Persolaise is your book Le Snob Perfume in English version available anywhere to buy? I'm fairly new to the fragrance space do I am more on an exploration stage. I wasn't able to find a copy online
It is so fascinating to see this wonderful, incredible house building its archives and contributing to future research etc. History in the making. Thank you again for a great interview!
Fantastic interview, Mr P! Love the vintage crystal and gold bottle and the way this has evolved into the beautiful flacon of the women‘s collection. Have a wonderful and well deserved summer break! 🍹
Loved this interview, and I am extremely excited at Amouage's direction under Salmon. I especially appreciate the attention being paid to Omani culture. Thank you Persolaise
👀👀👀Wow! ❤️❤️❤️ I really hope he releases that rock rose as the non-manipulated oil! I love mineralic rose! What an interview! 👏👏👏 Those retro crystal bottles! 😍 Frankincense from Somalia is my favorite of all profiles, though I’d love to be a fly on the wall during an Amouage materials testing! The subject of Attars is a fascinating one; we shall see. Thank you for this Amazing interview! Saving for future reference! Definitely a reference interview! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏❤️🙏
I just discovered Amouage and is a unique feeling to used a perfum that belongs to a Country and quality is above. I only have Lyric woman and I am so happy with the expirence
I would have loved to a see those Vintage bottles in person I'm so thankful for you showing them on here . This interview was even better than the first one thank you so much
Love your work as always Mr P, but this interview even more because you didnt hold back with some of the qs..I believe this only comes from a genuine love for the brand and line, so hope Renauld saw that.
@renaudsalmon if we are celebrating 40 years for Amouage next year and you're doing some research, does that mean you're going to present more treasure finds to us? 😃 love hearing this history, truly wonderful ✨️
Well, it depends on the juice, but yes, kept in the right conditions, a scent can be preserved at high quality fora very long time. The key enemies of perfume are heat, light and air.
@@Persolaise thanks for the explanation! I’ve a couple of unopened, still wrapped bottles of Fleur d’Oranger from Fragonard that I’ve hoarded and they are in the bowels of my closet! I’m very pleased now!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

I am only slightly crushed that Opus X has not been maintained in the Library Collection.
I think quite a few people are disappointed.
I fell out of love with Amouage when they changed the bottle design for Reflection Man...
Oh dear.
Thanks for watching.
I never heard back from amouage when asked whether they use any animal derived ingredients in their perfumes. Is it a big secret?
Maybe it would be worth writing again?
Is Amouage Sunshine Man discontinued? 🙁
Sorry, I don’t know for certain. I’d advise checking on their website.
Hi is so cutie j,adôre him and his perfums!😍🤭😋

5:43 can I buy this bottle from you, Renaud? :)
😂 I can’t see him parting with any. But thanks for watching.
