Sophisticated Italian Foxtrot in 1929 ("Rotaie")

A dance scene in an upscale establishment in the 1929 silent film from Italy "Rotaie". I paired it with a somewhat anachronistic Foxtrot, La Canzone Del Domani from 1937, as the tempo seemed about right

It's interesting that the women's fashions here were brand new in the last months of 1929, and would have still been up-to-date in 1930. The normal waistlines and substantially below the knee hemlines had only just been introduced. The hats baring the foreheads likewise.
