3:25/3:34 Getting stuck at Mt. Moon isn't a bug or glitch. It's the end of the romhack, which was left unfinished. Notice that the map is left unedited after Mt. Moon, because you weren't supposed to get there yet. So if you do bypass it, it just plays out like regular FireRed from that point on. (I still enjoyed playing it just because I liked Graag and Magid)
it misses just one more pokemon to make a full team comp with the new redesign sprites, also i like how you pick the pokemon that you would redesign like, the starter from the romhack, the title on the romhack, the famous one that most people knows, the unique or cool design you might have in mind, and the exclusive legendary pokemon from the game
As someone with no attachment to this game and having never seen any of the original sprites other than Mewthree, I have to say I love you what you did with these! Graag especially is one of my favorites (I love non-conventional sprites like Mawile so it instantly won me over). Titleguy was another great one considering just how little you had to work and the retractable claws were a really good idea. I also love the choice to make all of their new shinies inspired from their original glitchy shiny sprites. Great work as always! :D

Niche knowledge time. I was one of the founding members of MewThree Inc, but wasn't involved in this game as I had checked out by then. If I remember, MewThree was a guy named Matt from North Carolina and he was a pretty chill dude. I had designed a sprite (a terrible one thinking back) for the antagonist of MewThree, which was Dark Mewtwo. The design was similar to the one in Pokken, oddly. I had originally planned for it to function as a dark type trainer and then be a battle with it at the end of a project that never came. It's been years since I've even thought about this and if my photo bucket account still existed, I'd share the cringe 😂
Shicoon kinda looks like the Winged Dragon of Ra from the YuGiOh series. 😕 ...Still, the redesign is not bad anyway. But I think I like both Titleguy and Mewthree's redesigns even more. ❤ So, good job! 👍😊
17:28 - The more I look at it, the more it looks like "Metal Sonic" but black... so "Metal Shadow" if you will. I guess, whoever did this hack, was certainly a fan of both sonic and pokemon. Regardless, I remember this rom hack, and played it. Walk through walls cheat was indeed used to see more of the "game" and got myself a working Mew cheat code, which I decided to play through the entire game for the last time before deleting it into the ether. There were plenty of goofy, uninspired and weird rom hacks back in the day I have encountered. I remember few of them and some, looked... like they had the potential. Besides Pokemon Chaos Black, there was: - Pokemon Forsaken - Pokemon DragonStone - Pokemon Steel Edge (I still have this rom btw somehow) - Pokemon Marble - Pokemon Quartz (Which im going to watch an episode of it next) - Pokemon Naranja (Orange Islands) There probably was more I have played, but I dont remember them sadly, and purged these purtrid programs off of my PC when porting things over to the new one. Honestly, if you ever release these rom hacks as fully redone and remade, I will defintiely give them a try again. For a memory trip down the lane. Your sprite work is bloomin' AMAZING!

Funny idea (just for the memes): Shicoon never manages to evolve to his last form according to the new description you gave him, and inside the hack he evolves into a Pidgeot because Pidgeot was as a Placeholder, so... what if Shicoon evolves, but being such a small bug and being eaten by a Pidgeot for this reason Pidgeot appears in the Sprite of his last form? (basically Shicoon's last form is inside the Pidgeot)
Aw man this reminds me of my old attempts to rework Pokemon Quartz, changing stats and movesets so that most of the mons werent just unchanged from Ruby. I tried my hand at a few sprites but some of those designs are beyond saving lmao
so archaludon is considered a pseudo legendary in japan being a member of the "600 club" so im gonna say its a pseudo legendary if only because the idea of us getting two pseudos in a gen for the second time is really cool
the western fandom definition of "pseudo-legendary" also includes being a 3-stage evolutionary line and being in the "Slow" experience group, taking 1.25 million EXP to reach level 100, so Archaludon doesn't fit in the western fandom's definition of the category

Until, you beat the Champion and OWN 60 pokemon species, then you get the National Dex from Oak and THEN it can evolve. You could base it on that and make it a Pseudo-Legendary with 600 Base Stats. EDIT: Its final form will be a rip-off of YuGiOh WINGED DRAGON OF RA. XDDD

Truth to be told, I had thoughts of reimagining an old webcomic from my past. While I wasn't the original author of it, I was a coauthor on the first version of the webcomic. I was even good friends with the main author until we had a terrible disagreement. It's a long story, but he ended up deleting the first version and created a second version. As a result of the turmoil, both versions of the comic stick out in my mind. For at least a decade, the creator of the comic has seemingly disappeared off the face of the Internet, so I have no obvious way of reaching out to him.
the starter and mewthree redesigns are great the cocoon is also a great design but i feel it goes a little off track with the body shape graag is a slight downgrade, and the title guy is honestly a big one, sorry

Regarding the metal pokemon "Titleguy" with claws. Looking at it, I think this is the Dark Mewtwo I mentioned, but in armor; which I never designed.
Love this, I though I was burnt out on fakemon but the sprite aspect feels really fresh
