They are great off road workhorse trucks but they just don't look like they have a long life to them just don't see many Mack otr trucks and it looked very comfortable as a truck but lots of plastic on it also.

MP 8 engine is Volvo,the gear box is also some kind I shift that is the truth.

MP8 is Mack power 8 (13L) and the tranny is mdrive. Volvo is basically the same engine and tranny but they don’t put it in a Mack
D13 with ishift trans only difference it says mack

Negative. It's PURE Mack engine, made in Hagerstown MD at the Mack plant..... Volvo uses the Mack engine it's just painted green and badged
