And once again; Jessie has every damn right to show off her voice as it is one of the most powerful and beautiful voices that the music industry has ever experienced. Not many singers can compare to Jessie. Just sayin'.
oh trust me SO MANY singers have a better voice than jessi. She's good, but she's not even close to best look at tina turner, whitney huston, amy winehouse, ADELE, and so many others. She just is not as good as these women.
Jonas Heigenhauser This is your own opinion and I fully respect it but in my opinion Jessie can actually be compared to all these remarkable female singers that you mentioned in your comment and I do think that her vocal abilities can turn out to be equally good or even better than theirs. This is just my personal opinion though.
Heartbeat_E. I respect that opinion, but i want to point out that my mentiones are based on facts. Mariah Carey has a Vocal range of 5 octaves, that is almost impossible to beat
Jonas Heigenhauser I don't know about octaves and stuff. All I know is that Jessie's voice is one of the most powerful and genuine voices I have ever heard. I have listened to Mariah and then to Jessie..I think Jessie beats her but then again that's my own opinion. You don't have to agree, haha.
That's how she sings. Don't hate on how she sings, it made the song better in my opinion because she made it her own instead of singing it just like Taylor did.
There's a huge difference between hate and thoughtful criticism. I get that she can sing, I'm in no way saying "omg u suuck, please die!!" Part of being a great singer is control of your vocal abilities, you know, less is more and all.
she's by far the best singer at the moment... She's a one-time-a-generation-talent!... love her... I'd die for singin' once with her... And I'm praying, that we live in a world where wishes are supposed to come true...
This version is soo sad. You wouldn't see Taylor's version as sad. This proves It's not the lyrics that add emotion, but the voice that adds emotion to the lyrics. I like both versions , but I see Taylor's as a cool pop song and Jessie's as a sad breakup song
But the song is not supposed to be sad. You've got the first verse that you can consider sad, and the rest is angry. At least that's how the writer of the song performs it, aka taylor. And when I say angry I mean she's angry that she went for the guy anyway, angry with herself not the guy.
i've noticed in every video that bbc radio 1 has mastered the art of fixing the camera on someone's face until they are uncomfortable and don't know what to do
It doesn’t even matter how on point her subtle runs and trills are... The fact that she completely recomposed the way it’s originally supposed to be sung is a testament to how good an artist this woman really is. She gave real life to the entire song by just changing how to sing the end of a certain part of the verse and really giving her voice more space to colour the song by slowing the tempo from the original. You got me alone
You found me
You found me
You found me

And I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard
You took a step back
Without me, without me, without me
And he's long gone
When he's next to me
And I realize the blame is on me
'Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
So you put me down oh

So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
No apologies
He'll never see you cry
Pretend he doesn't know
That he's the reason why
You're drowning, you're drowning, you're drowning
And I heard you moved on
From whispers on the street
A new notch in your belt
Is all I'll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see
He was long gone
When he met me
And I realize the joke is on me
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
So you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
When your saddest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me or her or anyone or anything
Yeah
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
So you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble

Flawlessly amazing! You can see all the musicians/singers in the room enjoying her talent too.

How come I just discovered this?? If I could like this 1.000x I WOULD! She sounds AMAZING!
Damn. A lot of great artists are covering Taylor's songs. Alessia Cara, Charli XCX, Imagine Dragons, and now Jessie J. It just prove how Taylor's songs are so amazing.
Or proves these artists think they can do better than her
@@jessebeeson29 maybe, but she writes her music, they aren't singing just her songs, they're singing her lyrics too. I think Taylor's voice beautiful and she makes all these songs famous with her voice. I do not deny the talent of the other artists, of course.
@@jessebeeson29 or proves that her lyrics that she wrote are absolute masterpieces
@@jessebeeson29 or proves that these artists have their own different and unique styles in singing and songwriting and that doesn't mean that one is better than the others just because they don't live up to your taste.
Yes! “HER SONGS” are amazing, but not for her v*ice 😂
Jessie J is sooo underrated T,T
