another cover!
okay, so WOW. this cover i am going to have to talk about for a bit because i have a lot to say.
i discovered ethel cain’s preacher’s daughter for the first time back in february and it completely changed my life. it is just another level of genius that i cannot even begin to get into because it’s just THAT good. i’ve never found a piece of work that makes me feel the way it does and never have i been so captured by an album. everything about it is so incredible and i wish i could just scream at the top of my lungs and let the entire world know how GOOD this album is.
so this is kinda me doing that lol 😭😭. this cover took so long for me to do for some reason. i think i could just never get it right and it was really upsetting me (and i still don’t think it’s perfect but… ignoring that for the sake of just getting this up i fear) but i finally got the motivation to finish it, so here it is. this is my favorite song from preacher’s daughter, and easily one of my favorite songs EVER.
