It was really hard to choose my favorites but spreads 3, 5, 7, & 8 were my absolute favorites & ones that I think came out the best & the prettiest but they were all really nice.
I‘m so looking forward to finally get to know this author soon! I‘ve never read any Ferrante book before… Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! 🤗💕
Oh i love all those washis!! ❤ Your video made me want to (re)read some classics as well, but when will i find the time to read everything?! 😅 The more i watch your videos, the more i want to do a reading journal to keep track of my readings and to plan them. My sister gifted me a gorgeous Archer and Olive notebook, i think 2025 will be the year to begin 😊
Oooh Archer & Olive has such beautiful Notebooks!! 😍😍😍 would be perfect for a reading Journal! 📔 It’s so cozy to just sit with your journal and think of all the great books you’ve already read or want to read in the future! 🤗📚 The washi tapes are so gorgeous, I escalated a little and taped them everywhere haha… 😂 in my journal, my planner, I even wrapped an ugly second hand book in it… 😅 Hope you have a super cozy weekend, thank you so much for watching!! 🎉🌸
Aaaah, you‘re so right!! I have it on my digital list, but for some reason forgot to write it down in my journal 🫣😅 thank you so much for noticing! 📚🤗💕
I love Pride and Prejudice by Austen, I probably can't even count how many times I read it over the years 😍😂 I don't like Kafka and Kundera at all though 😅 All the exams and presentations 🙄 Also I can't help but find M. Kundera and M. Viewegh (a Czech author who is very popular, and maybe thenonly one - or one of a very few- of the authors who can be a writer fulltime in Czech) quite childish sometimes. I read onenof Kundera's book (for referat purposes) and it was not bad, but not exactly great either. There are Czech authors I enjoy much much more in the school reading lists (V. Hrabal, M. Ajvaz's "The Other City") 🤦♀️ - but it can also just be my automatical dislike for the things that are kind of forced upon me 😅 From the Russian classics I really love Evgen Onegin, that is such a good book (especially the first half before it really gets into the I love you-I don't love you-but now I love you-I can't be with you... that part was a little bit enoying 😂) But I love the humor! 😄 I also enjoyed Homer's Odyssea quite a lot! And Ivanhoe (Walter Scott) also left quite an impression 🙂 And Ray Bradburry - Fahrenheit 451 is such an amazing book! That one I even tried very hard to squeeze into my presentation topic 😂
Wow Thank you so much for your detailed comment, there were a few mentions I didn’t know (Hrabal and Ajvaz for example)… 😍📚 I do love Kafka very much, but I was never forced to read it in school, so maybe that’s why I don’t have an automatic dislike haha… 😅 Oh I can’t wait to read so many classics, and to also learn more about really good writing with that too! 🤗💕 Thank you so much for sharing your experience and some recommendations with me!! 🧡📖 Hope you have a cozy weekend ahead! 🤗
@@ink-stained_realms Yeah, the "reading kánon" full of Czech authors comes with going to Czech schools 😄 But I would really recommend Michal Ajvaz if you can get his book anywhere (though it's not so much of a classic, he's... well, I think no one ever really told me WHAT he's writing, only what it's not 😄) Have a nice (classic) weekend too 📚🫖
omggg those wash tapes are goooooorgeous 😍 we have quite a lot of books in common 🙈 all jane austen and bronte sisters, dickens & doerr, madame bovary, ishiguro, kafka and murakami, moby dick, steinbeck and tolstoi ! it was such a lovely video and beautiful spreads 🤎
Thank you so much Celine! 🤗 Yes those washis are so gorgeous, I use them now for EVERYTHING, haha, I even wrapped an old second hand book in it 😂 If you‘d like to do a buddy read of any of the classics next year let me know! 🤗📚 Have a cozy evening! 🌸

Haha, that’s funny, those spreads are exactly my favorites as well 😂🧡 Thank you so much for watching! 🤗📚

I finished reading "My Brilliant Friend" by Elena Ferrante a week ago; it is extraordinary. Beautiful spreads, thanks for sharing!
