Ever since they bought the new press and built the bunker. And i'm not even gonna mention the expensive robot that works as a camera stand.😅😂
Yep, that is just testing how strong a circle is made of those materials when force is applied to its weakest part. A test of the material itself would be better accomplished using a cube like the other tests or if you were determined to test a ring then force should be applied to both the horizontal and vertical axis. It would also illustrate how strong a hollow cylinder/pipe can be.

You pressed the wood in its weakest direction. Pressing parallel to the green would result in much higher numbers.
