i noticed a couple things ... if you use method #1 and right click on the upscaled image, MJ defaults to the latest saveid you've created ... is there a way of choosing which id you want to use? .. and #2, I'm not getting as good a results as you are getting .. some of the few famous people I've tried are not matching very well / blending into the AI images lve created ... do the image sizes of the face of the 2 need to be precise for a better result? I tried creating a saveid with a dog but there was too much hair in his face , so it never got recognized ... will have to keep experimenting. Thanks.

Instead of the Discord coming up with the images you swap, can you swap two images of your choosing? So swap the face of one of your images into the body of another image that you have selected, not the AI creation of the second image?

Doesn’t effect it at all. This is just pure open course stuff. It makes amazing images. Costs not a penny. And we can it in our own servers (privately) :)

I followed your tutorial. Already had Midjourney on my one server. Added Insight Face Swap from the link in your description. Authorized it and it showed up on my server. Typed /saveid. Nothing happened. Do I need to create a separate server with just Midjourney and Insight Face Swap on it? Or could something else be wrong? HELP!

This didn't work for me. I have a paid Midjourney subscription, followed all your steps, and I uploaded a clear closeup portrait picture of myself. There's a slight resemblance but nowhere near the resemblance that your examples show. I've been trying for weeks to be able to make clear AI pictures of myself in Midjourney and the results are always not good enough. The self-help UA-camr Hamza does an amazing job at this, with endless UA-cam thumbnails of himself created with AI where it's incredibly obvious it's him. I've been devouring tutorials on how to achieve this but with no luck. Could you make a tutorial or offer any guidance on how can I actually learn to do this?
Hey Frank, To the first issue you mentioned: Maybe you are using the wrong settings? I don’t know how good you know Midjourney. With /settings you can open a little menu where you can setup your settings. At this point you have to try out which settings works the best. Soon I will be home, than I can test it for you and tell you what worked best for me. Another problem could be, that you are using the 'wrong' prompts. In general there aren’t wrong or right prompts, but there are prompts that works better than others. That I can also test when I am at home and give you a short update if you want. For your second question, I don’t have an awnser yet. At this time I try something similar. But for this project I use stable diffusion, as there are more tutorials for this specific project for stable diffusion. I hope I can help you with your first problem 🙂

yes. You can set the aspect ratio in the generation process --ar 16:9 (for example). If you upload your own images, you'd have to make the image the size / AR you want first :)

I tried the swapid, the swap itself worked but it failed to do it accurately, like the original picture from the Imagine code had wider face structure than that of my picture, and longer chin so it came out a bit off.. any prompts to use in order to make it more accurate?
It's better to keep making images in Midjoureny until you have one that matches your face shape.

I'm importing Midjourney's render (1024x1024 px) which is great but getting output image of only 485x485 px. Is there a possibility to get the same picture resolution? I would simply crop the face you want to change and then put it back together in the original photo using an image editor

You have to click on the icon positioned to the left of the search bar "list members".

I tested it with my dog Kingston and it gave me a face detection failed response. I'm going to tinker with it and see what I can come up with :)

I had it working with a Pixar style image. It’s.very hot or miss though :)

Sounds like a glitch. I had an issue earlier where it was not accepting my prompts. I think the server was overloaded a little earlier on

Another problem could be, that you are using the 'wrong' prompts. In general there aren’t wrong or right prompts, but there are prompts that works better than others. That I can also test when I am at home and give you a short update if you want.

Hi there! That is a low resolution. I use imgupscaler.com and set it to 400% upscale and I find I get excellent (FREE) upscales.

Right at 3:01, I don't see how to get to the link for the faceswap bot on my server.
Usually just hover over the bot name and left click / add to server.
