These awards should be brought back.
MU should bring back the announcement of special awards on the stage because the girls prepare their entire lives for being there. You should have this moment for them.
Miss Thailand won miss photogenic in a consecutive 2 years.
@@vynzznyv nah man, Puerto Rico won Miss Photogenic 4 years in row from 2001 to 2004, one of them is also bring home the Miss Universe title. Its the only country to achieved this.

@@redd-iveee4400 He is racist because he wanted Jamaica (black woman) to win in 2017. He even talked shit about Miss SA Demi in an interview, after she won. Demi was the deserving winner, but this racist was just a sour grape.
Ben Y lol Steve Harvey was there in person right next to these girls hosting the show. Sierra bearchell said what you see on tv looks absolutely different in person so maybe in person Jamaica was the true winner to him. That’s not his job obviously he’s the host but how does that make him racist? Lol

And to answer your question, it makes him a racist because in his mind he identified the winner on the stage based on race. If the judge were a white man and made such comments on a black winner, say like Zozobini, there would be an outcry. Don't you think?

seeing these past MU editions just makes me realize how the most recent format of MU 2019 becomes sooooo boring. no wonder it has fallen BIG TIME on tv ratings. actually when IMG took over MU, it has become unexciting already. It has also become soooooo CHEAP. Even the MU crown (2019 crown) now looks so ugly.
But the WME/IMG provided some winners that didn't win a while like the Philippines and South Africa twice and France and in quicker fashion than the Donald Trump era.
These girls are undeniably marvelous. Whether the production is worst or not, they'll surely shine. Their winning has nothing to do with how the production of the show is done. Their winning in IMG era does not cancel out the fact that IMG made MU cheap and booooorrrrriiiimg.

The Endeavor/IMG era MU will get better in terms of production to go along with keeping more diverse winners. Just judge them after 10 editions.
