Stars above, this is amazing insight, I honestly never could've known this myself, being a man. The wisdom of women is truly on a greater level. I can't believe I used to think it was because girl's bathrooms were like plumbing amusement parks, fun for all ages and of course better experienced with friends. Admittedly the actual reasoning is far more mundane yet bewilderingly more practical. I remember when me and the boys used to go to the bathroom together, mostly to discuss the latest conspiracy theories because it's safe in there, illegal to record what's taking place in bathrooms so we're always at ease. Of course now with Coronavirus out there (allegedly) me and the lads haven't been able to convene at any public restrooms and honestly it's rather heartbreaking. Here's the problem with that. If girls say I'm fine expecting the boys to pick up on the fact that they're not fine, you create a paradox. If he keeps asking you if your fine, and you get mad he's going to stop asking. But if he just walks away because you're fine and you get mad at him, that's on you.
You said you're fine. His only crime was assuming you were honest.
Guys really hate the whole I'm fine thing and for many guys it's grounds for a break-up. Why keep dating a dishonest woman? She's a big fat liar.
If a guy ghosts you and you don't know why, think back a few days. Did you I'm fine him, expecting him to not fine you? Then that's why he's ghosting you, expecting you to boo.
Consider that at this moment, you have declared that all further conversations are meaningless. You couldn't answer a straight-up I'm fine question, and you have the nerve to blame him for being too thick to get it. That's not acceptable.
