Chasing Sportbikes on the Dragon with a Concours 14

A fun pass through Deals Gap on my 2000 Concours 14 laden with full luggage behind some friends riding a Tuono RSV4 and a Superduke 1290R. Michelin Road 4 GT tires, Traxxion Dynamics AK20 cartridges in the forks and a Penske 8983 shock.

The one thing that would keep me from chasing the Dragon's Tail is the harsh lighting. On a bright sunny day, you have bright patches of road, then darker spots where the trees cast a hard shadow. On a cloudy, overcast day, I could do it. Getting old sucks. I need eye surgery.
I love how the first rider leans off his bike & drags knee, while the second rider stays in the neutral position through the curves. Just goes to show you that different riding styles/techniques can work for the same situation...

Great looking road and a nice spirited ride. Can't wait to get back out, my bike is headed to the shop for maintenance today.
