Surah Mulk is the 67th chapter in the Quran which consists of 30 verses. It is also known as “Al-Mulk” which means “Sovereignty ” or “The Dominion”. Muslims believe that the Quran is the word or book that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Jibril. Surah Mulk explanation is considered one of the most important Surah in the Quran and has a special place in the hearts of Muslims.
Surah Mulk authority was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W in Mecca at a time of hardship and difficulty for the early Muslim community. It was early time when Prophet S.A.W. started spreading Islam in Mecca. This letter was revealed to give comfort and reassurance to the Prophet and his followers, reminding them of God’s power and sovereignty over their enemies.
