Battlefield has really always been impressive at the time they came out, at least for me. Even BFV has nice graphics and stuff, but mostly BF4 and BF1 are me favourites
There's also a secret reload that has the soldier put the bullets in, give them a little pat pat before putting the cylinder of the gun in place, I've seen it happen to me only once, so it's pretty rare

One of the details i prefer in Battlefield is the rocket launcher can trigger fire with or without ADS, while CoD must ADS to shoot the rocket launcher
@@bmhater1283 I think the only reason you have to do that is probably because the ads with the rockets thing is baked in with the engine so it would probably break the engine if they tried to change that. Or they're just lazy that's also an option.
I always assumed it was a balance thing to make it longer to fire so you can't just whip it out and hipfire someone at point-blank range. Of course, I still manage to get killed by RPGs ever other game in MW2019 it seems like so who knows how effective it is.
The one detail that I love the most in Battlefield in general is the player chambering a round in a tube fed weapon. Of course having an extra round in the chamber when you reload on a part magazine is an awesome detail too.
Sounds are excellent, animations haven't aged nearly as well though. While they're technically accurate they look super stiff and robotic, Cod's animations always had more visual flair, regardless of which game you think is better.
I love how violently the recoil on the 44 magnum is simulated but at the same time when you play the game it doesn’t feel like it makes follow up shots impossible! Dirty Harry would be proud!
When each gun is firing I drown in nostalgia filled times when unlocking a cool new gun in bc4 and playing with it for hours until I unlock the next one

Is there an option where you can do the bolt-cycling animations even when you're aiming down the sights? Regardless if it's just iron sights and scopes?
2042 baffled me when they used third person view models for their animations in weapons and equipment. Had they used FP view, it would have already surpassed BF4 somehow.

@@galladesamurai2380 it also has a few different assault rifles (and other types of guns) that are *almost* identical to each other stat wise. That was one of the big complaints back then. I personally didn’t mind it.
