We've had so many false promises of clearouts but it feels a bit different this summer because of INEOS. It'd change everything if we sold properly and re-invested. Come on INEOS, get it done.
It won’t happen, we all know it. Our players are locked in with stupid contracts.
I think we should take the opportunity to raise the price of Greenwood since he has many big interested suitors.
You forgot Greenwood.
Yeah, what promises? Pure fiction created by none other than ManU fans themselves
INEOS has to do it..
Hmm… someone’s finally read Ralf Rangnick’s report.
everyone did but ten hag brought in 16 players and spent 450 m and now those needs some clearing out as well 😂😂. between that rangnick interview to now actually 13 players have left 😂😂😂 so wtf is your point. 12 plus sancho. lmaoo
@@steve13191 the point is that there is “read” and “read”. You can “read” and not get it, like you. Or you can “read” and “get it” like INEOS.. and “act”!
Ten Hag thought he could do it all by himself.
He should have kept Ragnick on.
But Ironically Not fixing the deepseated mess United are played into the sale that most likely would not have happened had Ragnick focused on sorting the backroom out.
@@MichaelEnright-gk6yc You’re right. Ten Hag was too arrogant to take Rangnick’s support and the Man Utd board too weak to ensure that he took it.
@@really8930as i said, rangnick said 10 players must leave and they did. de gea, telles, bailly, jones, fred, ronaldo, pellestri, greenwood, donny, mengi, tuanzebe, elanga, dean henderson, sancho now and soon martial and varane. 5-6 of them were STARTING for rangnick. we did have a clear out. the problem is ten hag didnt know how to spend it and now we need to clear them out AGAIN. that is a FACT that we got rid of more than 10 players. it’s not debatable. 😂😂
We need a new medical department. From the building down to the cleaners, we need a total change of our medical department!
"Cleaners"??? You realise that those are people who are losing their jobs
another thing is that the training grounds are outdated and why the players would not be fit enough even if we need a new medical team
cause the glazers refuse to modernise cause they are greedy pigs
but at least ineos is doing a sick job at least
the new head of medical, the guy we got from arsenal is working on a clear out of the medical department
Have a 3 tier wage structure .
10k to 70k = the rest of squad
70k to 140k = 8 players in squad
140k and above = 3 players in squad
Bonuses paid based on winning trophies and personal achievements
as I remembered, backthen didn't we also had bonus like goals and assists? just to keep them hunggy I mean...or was that championship manager game lmao🤣
You cannot keep Shaw anymore. He plays less than half the season. Onana is also safe... he still makes an odd mistake but he has been looking good.
Agree, I think Martinez should be on the safe list too.
@@Comewithmeifuwant2liveif he can’t keep fit tho do we really want him
I love the guy but what’s the point in paying M’s in wages for no play
@@lorenzomoretti2972It's only his second season. A season where multiple players have been injured. That's not a coincidence. They were played into the ground last year because of all the competitions they were involved in. Martinez played in most of those games. So it's too early to tell if he's an injury prone type player. If he can't stay fit next season then it's a different story, and I might agree, but we just have to wait and see. He can't be put up for sale yet.
@@Comewithmeifuwant2live I agree brother
Rashford needs to be part of this clearout, nothing is gonna change until we sell him
He's been so inconsistent we need to sell him
he is a bad influence to the youth we bring up from the academy. absolutely be gone this summer
Absolutely, totally, completely, undisputedly, unreservedly without doubt correct 👏 👍
Sell rashford and invest fully on garnacho, the boy is showing he has potential.
Completely agree on Rashford. He’s selfish and not a good role model for any young players joining the club.
Personally I'll keep Dalot, Onana Martinez Fernandes, Hojlund, Garnacho, Mainoo and Amad
Maguire, Shaw bc they're English and have experience
Ik he doesn’t deserve the no. 7 shirt but why doesn’t anyone rate Mount any more
If anything I'll say give mount another year and if it doesn't work out, try move him on
@@ojg1269 would u sell Bruno for Wirtz?
Such a good player when fit.@@YousefAboelFotouh
Really hope this clear out happens it's been a long time coming and urgently needed
Ten Hag is definitely staying. I don't think this clear out is possible under a new manager because he would want to access the squad before any decision is made.
ETH is going to be sacked. Some of the players we need to get rid of are ETH signings.
Hag will be history by end of May. How do I know? Have they renewed his contract?
@JamesMIrby why would they need to renew his contract this year? He still has a year left. They would keep him for that year and continue evaluating him, no?
The manager has just been taken out of recruitment, got nothing do with ETH or any manager for that fact , that’s what the back room staff are now for , you seen the state of Eth signings? They’ve made the team worse
Ineos said they want a coach not a manager
Finally after all these years, not getting my hopes up let's wait and see come august how this team looks
I think INEOS are quite clever publicly saying everyone’s for sale cos hopefully that will entice bids from clubs for some players
Not to forget it gives everyone an incentive to perform as they might be looking for a new club soon
Can also be seen as United being desperate to lay people off which might ultimately send lowball bids our way.
Sancho is on 300k a week
Rashford 350k
I bet the figure he had is after Dortmund’s wage contribution
I feel like Maguire should be off limits too. Yeah some would argue that he's not at the level we as a club need him to be, and I can't really fully deny that, but I'm looking at something else when saying this.
Maguire has faced SO MUCH backlash it's insane. His career itself was on the verge of sinking. And instead of succumbing to the pressure, he put his head down and put in the hard work to literally turn his United career a full 180. He's been one of our best players this season tbh. He's been someone the rest of the team can rely on and be confident about playing alongside. He's given his all to earn this place back.
And I feel like rewarding that kind of behavior by giving him the opportunity to stay would set a good example for the rest of the squad and the new incoming players to follow. Letting him stay would allow the youngsters to look up to someone in the squad that worked hard to change the very direction his career was going. His mentality and his determination is something we need in this squad.
I think getting rid of him despite the journey he's been on in this season would negatively affect the confidence and the determination of the rest of the squad.
I get what you're saying but there also has to be some sort of standard in place in terms of quality. Maguire is nowhere near good enough for a team that has aspirations of getting top four, let alone challenging for a premier league. Working hard should be a given. Can't be keeping guys around based on sentimentality. We should have kept the likes of Fred and Weghorst in that case.
Keep Evans for the cheap and some experience in the team. Maguire can go, 31 years old, huge wages, can’t meet the standards of contemporary football, can sell him back to Leicester when they come back to the Prem, or a Leeds maybe
Can't play out or high line.
@@grocno796 As much as I loved Fred, those two aren't as good as Maguire has been this season. I understand your point about standards.
I'm not saying keep him permanently. I'm saying give him another season to hopefully improve. He won't be our starting center half, but let him have a spot on the bench.
This will encourage the youngsters to work on them without feeling the fear and pressure of having to make your mark in the very first season with us.
Keeping him there as a mentor for the young lads in terms of mindset and work ethic has some merit in my opinion.
But I do understand why others wouldn't agree so I won't be too upset if they do decide to get rid of them.
@@theemopikachu I think the big problem is what @playedout148 mentioned above. He is just not suitable to a top team's style of play. Putting him in the side completely changes the dynamic of the team. Our biggest issue this year is how deep our defensive line plays, which is largely driven by the centre halves we have at our disposal.
I just hope that whatever decisions INEOS make in terms of who gets sold, people accept it and that includes selling people's favourites.
I would also add Martinez to the list of untouchables.. did everyone forget about him and how ridiculously good he is and proved ALL the critics wrong. We are so much better with him in our team.
He won't be sold
He's one of the best when fit and a world cup winner who hasn't even reached his prime age. No chance he's sold
As someone that uses Excel for my day job, this video gave me massive anxiety lol.

Why bother using excel if you dont actually use it😂
Me too. What's the point in a spreadsheet you need to total up in a calculator. I need to get a life 😭📊📈
All fans will get behind this it’s what’s needed…we are nowhere near having a squad that can compete or even have the desire to compete the under 18s put in more effort than most of our 1st team
I have seen Shaw go long periods out injured under every manager. These are the kinds of players we should not be keeping at the club. We need players that can stay fit.
Love the Vedios thanks for keeping us updated
I just hope that the clear out actually happens this time. After previous disappointments and false dawns it has to happen this time or the club is finished.
Keep:
Onana
Dalot
Martinez
Bruno
Mainoo
Garnacho
Amad
Højlund
Keep these with a view to selling next year (can change if proving themselves):
Bayindir
Mount
Kambwala (maybe 2 years for him)
Shoretire
Forson (maybe 2 years for him)
Wheatley (Maybe 2 years for him)
Everyone else should be sold this summer if the right offer comes in.
Especially Rashford, get those 350k wages off the books asap. 26, value will be declining soon enough, if PSG come knocking would be silly not to sell and probably best for him too
U need to be the manager broo😅😅😅👍👍

Listened and looked for the players recommended by this channel on FC 24, and I absolutely love them, so thank you.
Making too many changes in one window can backfire, and it's important to have a few experienced players. Chelsea went all out to clear out and buy just young players, look at what happened. Changes can't be done too quickly.
😢 exactly my point
Well Chelsea are almost level with us on points so we would be in the same position but with lots of savings in wages
@@jhpfdijtuiweruotYou obviously haven't seen Chelsea's wage bill
@@creepingbrain Yes, I have. What's that got to do with the point I made?
Keep Onana, Martinez, Dalot, Bruno, Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund.
Personally, I think McTominay can be keep due to his homegrown status plus his attitude, despite his obvious limitations, as squad player.
Shaw if he could be fit, but I highly doubt so. Other than that, all can be gone
I remember the last clear out when vGaal ditched four scoring options-Chicha, vPersie, Falcao + diMaria-and replaced them all with a French Danny Welbeck.
The clear out is long overdue. A lot of players have to be shown the door out. Martial, Lindelof, Tominay, Casemiro, Varane, Erikson, Sancho etc.
Maguire, Luke shaw, AWB, Rashford, Anthony,
Keep Martinez, mainoo, garnacho, hojlund, dalot and fernandez and sell everyone

Don't forget Maguire and mc Tominay. I'd definitely sell Rashford, he's Only had 1 good season.
20 goal season back to back, only attacker to do so post Ferguson, as well as the first 30 goal season since RVP
This might actually be the great reset that's been so long overdue. Getting rid of mediocre players on high wages won't be easy, but needs must. How many coaches asked the Glazers for similar and were denied? Kudos to Ineos for recognising the endemic issues.
This is beyond Rangnick's "open heart surgery" , more like total body replacement. Limbs, organs and all...
You’re correct, it’s a genuine project because it’s finally a structure… but that means sacking the manager isn’t a repeat of a cycle- it’s the start of a new era
Must move on this season:
Casemiro
Rashford
Martial
McTomminay
Lindelof
Varane
Sancho
Antony
Shaw
Wan Bissaka
Eriksen
van de Beek
Spot On!!!!
Ive been saying this since last summer transfer window.
Shows how mental the sporting team in charge of transfers have been.
Take the HIT on the transfer fee - still a huge saving on wages
Rashford should be 1st to leave...why should he be an exception??
Because he is probably one of the best player we have imagine these guy help us gained a champion league spot and u want to sell him CU's he is not scoring goals .lemme tell u something for me i am sure the reson for heis underperformance was because luke shaw was injured most of the season 😢
Having watched the u18s and u21s this year in terms of the forwards i can see Wheatley and Charlie McNeil coming through next season, both have pace and are good finishers. Wheatley is also a big lad and won't be easily bullied. Then you have Fletcher, Amass, the Fletchers, Gore, Mcallister, Oyedele, these boys need to be given a chance.
Add Rashford, Maguire, Shaw, Greenwood, Antony to the list too!
I'll believe when I see it❤
Big question Sam. Apart from Sancho, Greenwood, McTom, AwB & Casemiro who would want to buy those old horses? Auction them off starting from £10-£15m.
Not sure how Luke Shaw did not make that list.
Antony was earning around 20 - 30k at Ajax, then he won the Ballon d'or and United payed 100m to sign him and gave him 10X increment on Salary 💥💥
Iam lost. When did Antony win ballon d'Or?! 😂
He's being sarcastic😅@@daddyof3gaming522
I always say that deal should be investigated for money laundering
why keep maguire?? other than recency bias i cant think of any other reason. He is on massive wages which we need to offload, we can probably get €20m for him if we sell him, and he isn't fast or mobile enough to play in a high pressing team which is the way man united want to go in.
+ Maguire's contract will expire in the summer of 2025 so why keep him an extra year an let him go for free when we can get a decent fee for him this summer?
I'd add Antony to the list
Sam u forgot to put Greenwood there 😶😶
Nobody cares anout him anymore
@@willtallis5275 Yeah but from the FFP prospective, he is a good sellable asset for us & direct profit being an academy graduates.
Shaw will be 29 in July, next year 30 we wont get anything for him. We should be looking to sell him this year itself. He will just be a liability considering his injuries. McTominay should be on the list as well, We need to upgrade on him
Martial - Varane - Greenwood - Sancho and hopefully Casemiro, have to be nailed on to leave first. Hopefully getting enough in to invest in a high profile DCM/CD. It'll probably take 2 seasons to balance the squad. We have to look at the most realistic to go first I think.
Ralph Ragnick said the we need open heart surgery, cant argue with his assessment of the aquad. Come on Sir Jim be ballsy and take out the deadwood and bring in players to play the new style of football that we'll be playing
Not so sure about this big clear out ,needed for a few years ,but we've only added to the list ,and it showed last season Maguire wouldn't leave due to wages ,so clear out unlikely.
I hope this 10 plus is accurate info Sam can't bare to see heartache week in week out next season!
They should add biasaka, Maguire, Evans, Varene to the list
Hardly a clear out considering that two summers ago we got rid of Pogba, Cavani, Garner, Perreira, Lingard, Mata, Matic and Chong!
Dont give us too much credit, alot of that was expiring contracts as well.
@@mzakaria10 but the list given in the so called clear out does the same.
Massive W
Early action required on exits and new player's. So the coach can intergrate team so United can start the new season running.
I'll believe it when I see it
I'd wait unitl the Summer before we get carried away because as always it deoends on who would actually pay either the upfront valuation or meet their wage demands and tben it depends where the player wants to go. The only way to force them out would be to release them but that's transfer money down the drain.
Also, 10 is a lot of new players and if more than 4 are starting 11 replacements, we can write off next season as the squad will need time to gel.
How the hell has Martial managed to get himself a 250k a week contract?! For doing what? Mans scored like 10 goals for United in the last 4/5 years!! Absolutely wild!
Daylight robbery.... one fairly good season in 9. Amongst the Worst Utd player ever....
Dalot should be here without doubt. Bruno too.
All we can do is hope!
Forgot about Greenwood he is gonzo 💥 love your content
What I dont understand that after all the trouble with left back after Shaw was injured , why Alvaro wasn't giving game time as he's next in line.
Good times for being a United youth team if we clear out
Hi Sam, great video as usual! I wanted to mention that the £1.35 million weekly saving you mentioned might not be entirely accurate. It's important to consider that when replacing outgoing individuals, the new hires will also be on the payroll. For instance, if we sell Case, we'll likely need someone earning £200k or more to replace him, meaning our actual saving would be £150k against the £350k.
Not necessarily. Casemiro this season has been our worse player by a country mile. He's playing like a £50k p/w or less player.
You clearly missed my point
Must keeps: Garnacho, mainoo, højlund, fernandes, onana and maguire or shaw (for maguire and shaw i simply think you need a core for the team and you need that experience at the back). We saw many times in football that if you make too many changes in a team and there is no core left, it is not going to work well. That‘s why i would also keep eriksen for the experience, martinez for the attitude, mount, dalot, and maybe mctominay also for the attitude, he is a great servant even when he comes from the bench.
We already have sancho, van de beek, greenwood who are must sells and martial, varane, amrabat who must leave aswell. Then casemiro, lindelof, (maybe evans) who should all leave. It is going to be difficult amread getting all of those out. So i think we should be careful this summer and not expect too many outgoings besides those candidates and give players like wan bissaka, rashford, antony, malacia etc. another year to show what they really are made of
The new hires need until next summer to truly make a difference, i dont expect much this summer
Watch out for this player ANTONIO NUSA
He is a massive talent and a future ballon d'or winner wish he is bought this earlier by Man united
Go: Wan Bissaka, Dalot (I don't think he keeps this season's level next season), Maguire, Varane, Jonny Evans, Lindelof, Casemiro (cash in now + get wages off the books), Amrabat, Bruno Fernandes (we can make bank to sign someone better), Martial (we need a roided version of him), Rashford (should've been sold ages ago, not good enough; don't know how much we can make here but wages off the books is a win; need a roided version of him as well)
Stay: Onana, Martinez (move him to 6 role), Shaw (as second option LCB), Eriksen (bit part player in 10 role), Mc Tominay (squad player), Mainoo, Mount (best position is as an inside forward but shouldn't have been signed in the first place), Antony (bring in proper RB and his performances shift), Amad, Hojlund
Loan: Kambwala, Garnacho (needs to go to a Dortmund to become more skillful, improve footballing IQ)
Bring in: Hakimi (RB), Tapsoba (LCB), Estupinian (LB), Wirtz (no. 10), bring Sancho back to play RW but also bring in Kvaradona as well
It’s only players like McTominay, Rashford and Greenwood that are important sales because they are grass roots players and so the profit means a lot more for FFP.
Your list should include Maguire, Mount, Antony.. All 3 should be sold no matter what they have done this season
Atp if an impressive amount comes in for any player apart from Mainoo, it’s best to take the deal. We need hungry players who want to win!
Bring it.
Sam, I love the content especially the detailed analysis. However not removing white English players that are not part of the long term future of the club could be seen as bias. I would find a way to keep Casemiro as he is the only holding midfielder we have and get an understudy next to him. I would suggest looking to renew Varane’s contract on lower wages for 3 seasons. He’s our best Center back, he’s younger than Maguire and could command a transfer fee next year.
Additional players to remove would include Maguire (no long term future and too slow to play a highline), McTominay (he’s scored goals this season and could earn a decent transfer fee now more than ever, Antony (get the funds from him whilst we still can), Evans (Shaw can be a 3rd choice backup at LCB and a backup to Theo Hernandez). I would keep Bissaka and Dalot and renew Bissaka’s contract, and plan to upgrade right back in another season- if necessary. Bissaka’s a competent one-on-one right back and it would be hard to replace that many players. Dalot has shown sighs of promise and both could generate higher transfer fees in the future (if the club does well).
Players to get in would be Todibo (Varane’s understudy) from Nice- fast and a decent reader of the game, Schlotterbeck (Martinez’s Understudy) at Dortmund- talker and has excellent aerial ability and is great at passing from the back, Amadou Onana (intermediate term replacement for Casemiro), Theo Hernandez (starter over Shaw), Exequiel Palacios (can play as a central midfielder to add depth, he is tough tackling and Mainoo could learn from him) from Leverkusen upgrade on Eriksen, and a more experienced Striker such as Jonathan David- Lille/ Lautaro Martinez (funds permitting, I ter have to sell). Hoijlund could understudy them, and they both are great at holding up player and interchanging with other forwards.
Although controversial for some, I would keep Greenwood as he’s a local lad, has fixed issues with his wife and is of the appropriate quality at Right Wing. He’s the only player since Valencia that has shown that he can make the RIght Wing his own, Amad would be Greenwood’s understudy. Rashford and Garnacho could compete for left wing, and Mount could compete with Fernandez for the advanced playmaker spot or as an 8 when playing against defensive minded teams.
Notice theres always a question mark when these come up on youtube
Sam how have you not got Maguire on there. Awful on the ball. Has looked ok in a side that can't keep the ball and concedes 20+ shots a game. He has shown great character but that's all. Don't be fooled by a decent performance here and there. He's an £80m players.
Great news..long overdue..we need to be patient as a fan base..but will we?
I hope we are ready for the championship!
Rashford, sancho, antony, greenwood...and many more
20 mil for Casemiro is mental lad. Happily take 7 mil :)
It’s safe to say that Sam is the kind of guy who just believes and even hypes up EVERY positive news 😂😂 there will be no clear out
I know Shaw is injury prone but when he's fit he's a world class left back i don't want him to leave we just need a good medical team or a good backup full back to give Shaw rest in some games Malacia was bought for that reason but he's injured aswell he's not a bad LB tbh but yeah we need a player who doesn't get injured a lot.
How exciting will this summer be? Hopefully the new ownership and structure will mean we actually sign players quickly and efficiently for good money and sell for good money too. Fingers crossed this summer isn't too early for them to implement this, but we shall see.
Finally thank goodness and get the glazers out aswell
Sam what about Onana????? 😮
The club should change stratecgy be concentrating on bringing in a fresh batch of academy fledglings. no amount of spending in the open market will get United back competitive.
So you're finally saying its the squad and not the manager?

I'm not familiar with the upcoming academy players, but I'm sure a few of them will be promoted to the 1st team next season thus reducing our need to buy new players. I personally believe that it's the best strategy. Man Utd buying established players is a money grab for both the teams selling their player and for the players themselves (over inflated prices and salary demands). We're better off promoting our youngsters who will need to work hard to deserve a salary increase. The only positions for which we need established players are in defence and CDM.
I really hope Rashford leaves. I'm convinced he thinks he has more seniority than every one including the coach and therefore that gives him some sort of immunity to being sold, so we have to bear with him while he can't get back in form because he is grieving or something. Mate, take a sabbatical and let players who want to work hard play! I'm also convinced he thinks he has some sort of power to get managers sacked. He is very likely one of the toxic players that Ragnick mentioned in his report.
So I'm glad Utd have new appointees at the top who are complete outsiders and who will hopefully look at Rashford as a regular player with no special status. They need to look at his performance in a purely rational way. If they do they will want to sell him.
More names: Donny van de beek, Brandon Williams, hanibal, pellistri, Amad, martial
i dont think Varane deserves a new deal but we need him as a squad player next SZN
My concern is that next season most of our first team players will be from acadamy. if United not prepared to pay the transfer fees and pay the wages. They will not sign players.
I believe it is needed to have new cultural mindset.
I still love Wan Bissaka though, defensively he is the best and in a well oiled United it will be almost impossible to pass him.
We all want a clear out but the question is if there is money available to get good players
Van de beek, greenwood, brandon williams ..i think we can make big money on greenwood.
As long as Rashford, Manoo, Amad, Garnacho, Ohnana, Hojland and Greenwood stay
Greenwood isn’t staying and nobody wants him
What for Rashford...?He is Lazy boy.. not consistent.
The radical surgery recommended by Rangnick is taking place at last. Besides the 3 youngsters, I’ll keep Lisandro Martinez. They’ll form the spine of a new United team. I’ll consider keeping Shaw, Dalot and even Wan Bissaka. With Kambwala, we have the base for a solid defence.
It doesn't matter what people say, the ones who leave will be the ones that want to go. Many will be happy to collect a big pay check that they won't get elsewhere.
I'm sure he did the spreadsheet thing on another video. Included Greenwood and the figure was over £100 million
yeah he did
I hope you eventually go through everyone who we could get rid of. These are players who DEFINITELY need to leave, and I agree with this list, and it’s insane to see the amount of money in both transfer and wages that we can get from these alone. However, this is only half of the players we should be trying to sell. Add Maguire, Mctominay, Shaw, and Greenwood, and that already takes the price over £200m profit from 11 players. Add Rashford, Donny, and Pellstri. That takes it to over £300m. Realistic in one window? Probably not. Achievable? I think so, ask Chelsea, who sold over 20 players last summer. It’s just an idea of what we could be looking at for players who are literally not needed anymore.
Doesnt need rocket science to know who too sell and necessity of clear out
It sounds so unrealistic because it's something I do at the beginning of every career mode. But it absolutely has to be done. And any player that doesn't like where the club is heading can go too. We need the ruthless mentality from the top down, which is clearly gone with all the 2 and 3 goal leads blown this season.
And I really hope INEOS have the balls to do what couldn't be done previously and quit paying the "United Tax" for players. How we haven't breached FFP thanks to Woodward I'll never know
£100M P/A on that wage bill you showed, and only one player contributing to the team consistently. Madness
