I've watched him from the the first two audition failures, and every success ever since. Every movie, move, show, and dance, he has been my light. My positive motivator from afar. As someone with severe depression, I seek out love, light, positivity and hope. He was all that, and more. I'm gutted, triggered, struggling and not dealing well after hearing of his passing, and as a stranger, if I feel this way, those close must feel things indescribable.

It was so much fun to watch Ellen and Twitch dance! I think that Ellen was in her 50's when she did this.That took guts. They both did a wonderful job. You could tell she loves to dance. Twitch is an amazing dance teacher. They are such good friends now 10+ yrs later- She pays tribute to Twitch on one of her last shows-see UA-cam..
i knew she was a pretty good dancer when she's 100% committed but this is REALLY good for someone who isn't even professional! She kept up with tWitch!!! I'm impressed
She didn't keep up with twitch. He toned it down a crap ton to do a beginner routine so they can look good together. The moves weren't as complex and didn't require much footwork to still look good.

Ellen's hilarious, but this just made me fall in love with Twitch. He's so willing to have fun, to step back and let Ellen be the star. Even at the end when they pose, he realizes he's accidentally blocking her face with his hand and quickly gets it out of the way. He's adorable.

I like the way they changed certain aspects of the dance: one because Ellen isn't a professional and those moves would have been difficult and two, they make the dance more "Ellen". Which makes it more unique.
