Thank you for this recipe and instruction. I had found a recipe that my son-in-law recommended, but as written it came out much too dry and I had to add a little milk. They tasted somewhat like a sweet biscuit and donut. Even with the amount of kneading I did, they still came out fairly tender. This recipe, however, makes much more sense and I will try it very soon!
