    I’m married to a Moroccan and I have never made anything that is Moroccan food and this is the first thing I tried today and he could not believe that this was my first time it turned out so good you should have just smelled my kitchen absolutely love and the taste omg even I got tears of joy was so proud of my self today thank u so much alia for these amazing recipes I will definitely try others on your channel❤

    Just made this today for my family and everyone absolutely lovedddd it. I ended up using lamb for the meat, but I’m sure it would be amazing either way. Can’t wait to make more of your recipes!

    مغربي جزائري عندنا نفسه بلعراق ونسميه طرشانه او القيسي واحنا ماخذيها من الاتراك بس احنا نحط المشمش والقراصيا ولوز وكشمش وحامض وشويه معجون طماطه او بدون ويوكل مع الرز الابيض بس هذا هم طيب اكيد لان اكل المغرب العربي شكل ثاني حبك انت ولا اروع

      ليس المغرب العربي بل فقط المغرب هذه الأكلة مغربية مئة بالمئة و طريقة تحضيرها مختلفة تماما عن باقي الاطباق ليس نفس الشيء لكل مطبخ طابعه الخاص نحن والجزائر ليس لدينا نفس المطبخ

    Did you just blanche and peel and then browned them in butter?

      Boil the almond first.. And then remove the cover.. Finally you fry it or make it in oven till it became golden

      They sell then withiut the cover in Lidl so you can just fry it x

      +Farah Esmail oh no, not really :-( you need dried prunes. I think canned prunes are in some sort of syrup and it wont taste good :-(

      Technically you can. It's slightly different, like wood and oven baked pizza.

      +Robert Sołdyński A tajine/ tagine is basically a stew type dish, so one doesn't really need the special pot... although one would be nice because the steam from cooking condenses and returns the flavours to the pot. :-)

    Well as you know well tagine is the dish not the actual food you've cooked which isn't called tagine anymore when you cook it in normal pan. Tagine has to be cooked in its dish at a very low heat!
