- Mussoorie known as the Queen Of Hills has always been one of the most popular hill stations in India. Located at a distance of 290kms from Delhi in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. Once the summer capital of the British, Mussoorie has been frequented by travelers and tourists from all across the world! If you wish to plan a trip to Mussoorie we suggest that you try and cover places around it too. We traveled to Landour and Kanatal - both are offbeat hill stations very close to Mussoorie! While Landour has British remnants throughout the town, Kanatal is a quiet hilly town covered with beautiful alpine forests. ❄️
In this video we take you through Mussoorie, Landour and Kanatal. The video begins with a day in Landour before settling down in Mussoorie. At Landour, we tried some tibetan food at the Doma's Inn, ate desserts at the Landour Bakehouse, got drenched in rain (cause we visited Mussoorie in the month of August, 21’), saw Ruskin Bond’s home, and sipped some hot tea at the famous Char Dukan! ☕
Mussoorie is truly a one-size fits all holiday destination. It is a great getaway for everyone across demographics and interests. If you are looking for respite from the summer sun, the months of April and May is the best time to visit Mussoorie. But if you are looking for some snow and to see the winter line, the best time to visit Mussoorie would be late December - early January. Next we move to Mussoorie and take you through all the tourist places in Mussoorie and show you which you should absolutely not miss. The Mall Road of Mussoorie with its - fantastic cafes, legendary street food, and street shopping, was definitely a highlight of our trip. We also take you through the Kempty falls and show you some of the most amazing cafes in Mussoorie that you must add to your Mussoorie to-do list.
We end the video with a relaxing stay at one of the prettiest and quaintest hill stations in the North - Kanatal.
