  • Buran track is a trekking route that connects Janglik village in Shimla district to Barua village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The trek passes through the Buran Ghati, a high mountain pass at an altitude of 15059 ft. The trek offers a variety of landscapes, including dense forests, alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and snow-covered peaks. The trek also involves crossing rivers, sliding down a snow wall, and rappelling down a steep slope. The trek is considered moderate to difficult and requires good physical fitness and prior trekking experience. The trek can be done from May to October, with June and September being the best months. The trek takes about 6 days to complete and covers a distance of about 40 km.
