“That’s got to be the highest electricity bill I’ve ever seen…”
*“So it would seem…”*
This doesn't actually consume that much power. Idk why people say this so much
@@LuisC7 Because he's running three lightning generating machines? It's pretty easy to see how one could be led to believe these would consume a lot of electricity
@@hothi92 it's not lightning bro, it's electric arcs. Very high voltage, very low amperage, and each arc is only activated for milliseconds. That means very low power draw actually.
Can we all just appreciate that humans have found a way to harness the power of lightning to such an extent that we can casually modulate the frequency of electricity ripping apart the air to play meme songs?
Yea well we also split an atom to vaporize two citys, and build but never deployed a nuclear missile capable of flying at mach 3 for 5 months straight, its called a slam missile.
Edison: “You have to be the worst Inventor I’ve ever heard of.”
Tesla: “But you have heard of me.”
Even better than modern people know edison was a piece of human sh*t and Tesla was robbed of giving us a future of free energy. We are in the darkest timeline...
It is always incredible what sound nuances these Tesla coils can do.
You ain't kidding my dude, I've always loved musical coils, been watching this guy since way baxk when he just had a single coil and even just one was still breathtaking! I highly recommend his version of Africa! 😆 such a classic!
On another note (heh, puns...) I went to the 2012 kansas city makers faire and I didn't even know until I was actually there but just by total chance I got to see arc attack perform a like 2 hour long set.... Words cannot describe how just.... just.... Seeing and hearing them playing the dr who theme, and music from like zelda, tetris, mario, etc... Being so eh, blessed as to actually witness them in person... if you ever, EVER hear of them performing anywhere within even a several hour trip each way. I promise you will not be disappointed for making the drive to see them in person.
Especially at the beginning, this sounds like it would actually be the intro music to an older Pirates of the Caribbean game
This has got to be either madness, or brilliance.
There's a very fine line between the two, and as said previously, it can be blurred easily.
I know using Tesla Coils to make music is nothing new, but I still find it weird (in a good way) on how it can pop up in musical conversations now. Here’s an example:
“What instrument do you play?”
“Oh, I play the Tesla Coil.”
“… Come again?”
Wait, this isn't the only channel that uses a Tesla coil as a musical instrument?
This day will always be remembered as the day you almost caught Captain Jack sparrow
This is certainly the most electrifying music I have ever heard. Shocked me.
Seeing the coils lined up like that looks like you're giving a full broadside of lightning!
"Clerics of the Storm, FIRE!"
I never realized how much I want to see a universe with age-of-sail ships but with elemental-imbued projectiles prior to reading this comment.
I love how we have literally achieved the ability to play music with literal lightning
There are too many cheap drsstc covers of this song on the internet, but this is not one of those. This is the best pirates cover on tesla coils I've ever seen. Also, someday you should do a Jurassic Park cover, ya know to celebrate the final installment of the Jurassic World trilogy.
The Jurrasic World movie that is so incredibly good it is being compared to Morbius?
Nah. Doing a Jurassic Park cover should to be to commemorate the original film's debut, which next year will be the 30th anniversary of :-)
As for the ""Jurassic World"" films... only the 1st is going to age well. The other two make *JAWS 3D* & *JAWS 4: The Revenge* look good.
Friend: *tells me about this channel*
Me: that is without the worst sounding idea ive ever heard of
•5 minutes later•
Me: this is without a doubt the best channel ive ever see
Friend:so it would seem
This song is a good test for whether someone has the intervals between notes in tune. I get chills when they're just right, and this was not an exception.
This honestly sounds like what you would have heard in a retro style Pirates of the caribbean game.
It always sounds better than what we imagine it would sound and that’s great…
One of the greatest soundtracks out there
What really amazes me is that, of all things, TESLA COILS have the coolest tones of any electronic instrument. It's like the sound that keygen and 8-bit and The Floppotron all strive for but all slightly miss in their own ways.
So cool. I love that someone, somewhere, at some point, heard the different noises the zaps make, and not only went “ooh, WHAT IF???” but then went on to create a genuinely amazing instrument. xD Honestly, humanity and it’s inclination to do absolutely wild things with even wilder (and increasingly dangerous) tools will never stop being amazing. xD
This actually sounds like a super badass instrument
@@TornaitSuperBirdyeah, the baseline towards the end of this is excellent
“You will aways remember the time you almost sued captain Jack sparrow”
@@Gencrossbones lol I hope so, but I don't think Johnny would say so either, because he's not part of Disney anymore
@@clavigne1085 yeah I would love to see him say it to be Jack sparrow for one last time
Would be interesting making a sound with Franzoli's Telas coils, Martin's Wintergatan's marble machine and Paweł's Flopotron 3.0
Not sure if would work in the music department but WOULD BE TOTALLY COOL!
Just remember if mayonnaise can be an instrument then anything can be an instrument ive even seen motorcycles used as an instrument
person: so your a musician? what do you play?
franzoli: *tesla coil* .
#justiceforjohhny ‘‘twas the day they almost caught captain Jack Sparrow”
This is something I didn't know I needed in my life till now, thank you!
this has to be the best potc remix ive ever seen
so it would seem
Even electricity is happy that Johnny won the trial
These are amazing. Keep up the wonderful work!
These are always great. I always wanted to witness these in real life, but so far I have not found anyone who owns these and is willing to give me an explanation and/or demonstration.
Look up Styropyro, he mostly works with lasers, but he has done other experiments. The components needed to drive parts of these incredible things are easily able to fry you and/or your house.
The Rochester Museum and Science Center (RMSC)* in Rochester, New York has what they call the “Electricity Theater.” It involves two of these tesla coils playing music, as well as some cool science demonstrations with them, like the fact that they can light up a fluorescent tube without any physical connection to it! If you’re anywhere near Rochester, you should go check that out someday! I went there once, and it was AWESOME!
*This comment is not sponsored by RMSC. I am in no way affiliated with them or any of their programs. I am simply someone who’s been there many times and has had so much fun, and would like to recommend them to anyone reading this!
@@mbcommandnerd Thank you for the Tip, and I definitely will should I ever be there. However, it is roughly 3900 miles (or 6200km) so it sadly is nowhere near close enough for me to just hop over there :D
You could try the nearest research university. It’s physics department might have one
That was such a shocking performance, you could really feel the energy coming from it. It was so electrifying. Ok I will see myself out.
That's gotta be the best electrician I've ever seen
This man saw the Depp Heard case verdict and just went "I *must* make a zappy song about this."
Ok, this is genuinely incredible! The amount of work that must have gone into this is unimaginable! Fantastic Job!
"So, what instrument do you play?"
*"Electricity!"*
From learning how to make fire to making musical lightning. What a world.
Found my entrance theme for my WWE character. Lol. This is awesome!
do you actually get electrified when you touch it or get close?
if you get close and get hit by an arc, a lot of the pain will be from the high temperature of the arc. depending on if you are earthed or not, you might survive the electricity. If you turn them off, then touch it and turn them back on again, and you arent touching the ground, then you will become electrified, and in theory you could create arcs like the coil (though i think the resistance of the body might be too high). If you are grounded...... lets just hope there is a hospital close by to you
I had a 'generic tesla coil music' sound in the song's melody in my head before i clicked this.
Way better than imagined, distinguished even.
this really sparks some ideas ..... "the most electrifying synth I've seen in years"
This is absolutely sublime! Tesla coils make everything sound so much more exciting! 👍
I love this theme and it fits so well for the coils.
"You're the worst pirate that I've ever heard!"
"Ah! But you DID hear me."
“That’s got to be the best lighting I’ve ever seen.”
“So it would seem…”
Nunca me voy a cansar de estos videos jajaja, un genio 👏
Nice timing with the upload
Something about this arrangement just makes it 10x better. The voicing in the intro is just perfect. Or maybe I just really like the lower registers on these things lol
Greatest pirate I have ever seen
Three units playing together is just stunning... amazing. I want one!
This is the COOLEST version of He's a Pirate that I've ever heard! I love it so much!
I'm honestly more impressed that you played an orchestral on just three channels.
Ele é um pirata.... Piratas sempre vencem.
These just keep getting better and better! Thanks for sharing.
Them: What instrument do you play?
Him:Tesla coils
"It sounds the same in person, just louder." People really do underestimate just how incredibly loud naked electricity is.
"That's got to he the best Tesla coil I've ever seen"
"So it would seem"
There is only one word that I can think of, beautiful, well actually,it's both perfect and amazing,it is a masterpiece
Using Tesla coils as music? That's WATTS up
I remember making a project about Tesla coil in my school, never realized that it could do this, this is a masterpiece
Didn't knew that I need that
He's a pirate
ngl I am very impressed at how amazing this actually sounded
Salazar: Jack Sparrow, he’s given up the compass!
What Jack trades it for:
#TeamJohnny
It's so comical how the sparks flail around. It almost looks cartoony haha.
DUDE FLORIDIA NEEDS YOU!!! this would take care of the mosquitos instantly
I believe that The Floppotron has met its match
PLEASE make micro versions of these and turn them into a buyable product. IDC if they are 100 or 200 bucks, I will buy them 😁😁
(Btw ik he already has micro versions but they aren't a product you can buy)
amazing harmonies, is it fun or hard to code all of that? it seems like it might be both
absolutly love the tesla coil/steel plate combo -
YAY PHYSICS!!!
That was insane!! Very cool!
Incrível mesmo top d mais.
Tem como vc tocar AC/DC ?!??!?
Tesla Coil music is the coolest thing on the planet, and I cannot be convinced otherwise.
That's got to be the best tesla coil user I've ever seen!
With ElectroBOOM being an insanely close second!
It's hits harder than amber heard 💀🔥🔥
"This has got to be the best Tesla coil I've ever seen"
"Or so it would seem"
I love the way it looks like its sliding to the side depending on what angle you look at it from. Its really cool.
Guess you could say this was shockingly amazing
this takes 'electronic music' to a whole new level. Absolutely incredible work!
I like this! I wish youtube had more content like this! Good hard work and thanks for sharing your talent!
Dude.... Your creativity is outta here!! Loved it!
I love that DankPods is a patreon! Thats Awesome!!
There's a lightning storm going on outside as I watch this amazing song lol. I love the timing.
This made me want to rewatch two movies at the same time. One of course is The Pirates of the Caribbean. The other is The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Nikola Tesla just shed a tear in the heavens for your work good sir.
Neighbours : Honey! The neighbour is making an electric ship
So crazy man. The sounds are out of this world lmao
this is so freaking cool i never knew you could do music with telsa coils so awasome!
What a fancy way for some catchy synth tunes. I like it.
Brilliant, fascinating and sweet!!!
I love these videos, someone just went "screw it, electric music" and everyone cheered.
Neat. Sounds like it'd work as a NES intro/Start Screen music track for a retro PotC game.
Absolutely incredible feat my brotha fairly impressive
either this guy is a master at paying electric bills or he is a god editor
YESSSSS, WE FINALLY GOT THE ICONIC PIRATE SONG
this is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen!
This is both madness and brilliance
Electric companies:
"Under the Electricity code, I command you to cease"
Franzoli:
"The thing about the Electricity code is it's not so much a code, more a set of guidelines..."
it's a way of life
"You forgot one very important thing, mate. "This is Franzoli Electronics."
Conduits, if you will...
its a good thing these dont take anymore power than charging your phone
You won 🏆
