- In todays #photoshop video I'm remaking an edit I made about two years ago. The Phoenix is by far one of my personal favorites, and has become very popular as a signature look for Benny Productions. So well, I thought let's see what a new take looks like! Today I'm using the exact same stock photos to create the same thing again, but better and more epic! I'm surprised by how different it looks and I'm curious what you think!

The origional phoenix one was your best artwork for me until today. I never thought you will outdo that, hats off! 🔥
I like both but the original was so nice and smooth so i liked it a bit better
@@ninjasheeps3690 yes it was but new one was much more realistic, epic and intense. It looks like if we had a battle between these two, the new one would eat up the poor original guy 😂 (talking in terms of how powerful they look).

The new version literally looks like some sick pokemon evolution. Epic work.

Pokedex entry for the new one: pyrolux(doesn't mean anything I made it up) the pheonix pokemon: using its massive wings it flies from region to region, only stopping to lay eggs and raise their chicks. it is said the fire this pokemon breathes can revive the dead. Stats: hp 99 attack 89 special attack 147 defense 64 special defense 96 speed 111 base stat total 605. size: 11 feet tall 54 foot wingspan. shiny: black with blue fire. Type: fire flying. (I'm not doing this for the old one)
To an untrained pair of eyes like mine, I saw no issues with your original artwork and thought it was spectacular. But, after you made the new version I totally see all the things you were looking to fix. Crazy how you don't notice these kinds of things until something even better is shown to you. Regardless, I love both versions and think it is so cool how much you have grown as an artist!
Your photoshop skills are actually insane. Keep up the good work, also I enjoy watching you remake your previous projects!
In my opinion the composition and overall edit is definitely more realistic and epic compared to the original, but personally, I prefer the original’s color pallet, it just feels more vibrant.
It's been two years already? Felt like a few months since I've seen this masterpiece... time flies by.

You really improved a lot. The only thing I liked more about the old one was the darker background and the glow effect the fire created. It made the Phoenix pop out a little more. So the first version to buy would be my go to

Wow! I honestly can’t believe it’s been 2 whole years since that video! You should definitely do more realistified, but where you only get the main idea from the drawing and then you can change it how you want to make it cooler!! I also like the idea of remaking old drawings, definitely keep doing that! All in all just keep it up dude, you’re amazing!
Its crazy to see how much you have improved in just two years. I was looking at my old graphic design projects for my portfolio class and its just mind blowing how much you can improve in that short amount of time. I would love to see this continue as a series because I love seeing how you can point out the things that need corrections while teaching others to be sensitive to them as well.

Graphic design and photoshop is such an interest to me but I’d love to get better at things like this. You should do tutorials and go into detail on how to use things on photoshop and teach us your skills. I love what you do btw keep up the good work!!!

Honestly, the phoenix was the first video of yours that I ever saw, I'd forgotten how much fun photo manipulation was after studying it in college years ago. This channel inspires me every day, and I'm glad to see someone else can look back at their old work and go "that was great for what I knew then, but I know I can do better now." ♥

I’m just getting started learning how to put together composite edits with real photos and the hardest thing for me is getting the lighting/shading right to make it look like it flows.

This is cool to see a direct comparison of the same artwork, I’d love to see this again with any other old artworks, but I’m also always excited about seeing new artworks and seeing new concepts etc that you come up with.
I had an idea based off your movie poster series. Remaking popular ads. Meaning the ad posters for products you see on social media and such, for example Coca Cola. A lot of the time they’re plain, simple and boring, usually just the product on a plain background with the logo, nothing special. I would be interested in seeing you take those ads and remaking them into a much more epic and visually exciting ad to look at. It doesn’t have to be Coca Cola obviously it could be a coffee brand, cereal brand, anything you want.
I also always look forward to realistified videos they’re some of my favourites that you do.

I really like what you did with the Phoenix itself but to be honest I liked the blue-ish background of the original a bit more. I think it helps separating the already bright bird from the bright background a bit more. Kinda similar to the last displate version you showed. Keep up the good work Benny!

The new one is sick, but the only thing i liked better is the wings in the original had more of a molten lava look, whereas the new one looks like the wings are just on fire
