Your efficiency, influencing and look ahead are really cool to watch. Thanks for the video.
You are amazing as usual
Nice job and congrats!
You're feeling better that's good
Really nice!
That was amazing
Nice job
Good! I am your fan and i am learning roux, come from Hong Kong
cool
How do you setup up your 2 handed cubes? Cause you're REALLY fast
Hey kian what should i do toget faster with roux after i know the basic of it? 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Hi, Kian. Would you do a solve critique for me? I have a ZZ past and am a bit used to blockbuilding (at least in zz-style)
I decided to switch to roux after seeing your comparison video
im sub 12 in zz and sub 20 (19ish) in roux
I thought maybe Kian should help out Sean with efficiency, so he can get sub-6! Like so Kian sees.
I taught Kian everything he knows. Including how to make lemons out of lemonade . All me.
How are you suppose to make lemons out of lemonade
@@violetzhou Get kidnapped as a fetus (from a mother with high functioning brain) by a secret research facility. Be drugged and repeatedly tested and operated on for 10 years to help refine you telekinesis powers. Eat eggos. Take a bucket of lemenade and return the juice to it's original form.
I cant find anything on tcmll i clicked on the link and its says it was deleted and i wanted to know if u could repost the google doc btw it was on the video about tcmll
Where do you get the scrambles from a competition? Is there a spot on the wca site?
WCADB.net (the DB is for database)
@@Kian_Mansour Oh nice. Didn't know that.
Kian, is 2H M2 fingertricked with left ring and middle finger good? Because I can’t double flick it in OH without it being awkward.
Do that for 2H and pinky ring for OH
I am averaging around 40 seconds, any tips on how to get faster?
Just wondering, how would you do roux with yau or megaminx. Im thinking to switching but Idk what to do about other cubes.
If there was a roux-esque megaminx method, id be interested in starting that event. 4x4 has Meyer, but it's not that good because of M slice moves. I have a pretty easy time using M because I have magnets, but I use K4.
Why don’t you upload anymore?
Boiii!!!
Do you use UF/UB at all? I use UF/UB in over half my solves and it’s very useful. Since I don’t use EOLR, after EO I have a pretty high chance of having at least one top layer edge in d layer, and in that case, pairing them and inserting them would take 5-6 moves. It’s more efficient than sticking to standard ULUR as in some cases it would be around 9 to pair them. I think you could incorporate more UF/UB into your solves as it can greatly benefited you when you have a bad EOLR so you could do an easier solution with EOFB. I’m only pointing this out as I don’t see you use a lot of UFUB in your solves, and incorporating it more can help you combat bad EOLR cases.
Just a tip :)
over half your solve?? my intuition tells me that ul/ur lse is around 1 move less than uf/ub lse on average. plus, ul/ur is easier to recognize. i don't use uf/ub at all, but i would have thought something more like 1/3 of your solves feels like a more natural proportion.
Agree with Kavin. UFUB doesn't make sense if I'm already predicting EOLR before CMLL and cancelling into it, already saving a lot of moves. Doing the same for UFUB and considering both options would not be practical for me, since there's no unique colours and not enough time to find and plan both.
Should have came to Canadian Nationals to give Bill a run for his money. This man won 2-7 and OH. That's a lot of money in Cubing Out Loud gift cards.
who is that cube
I had a question, Sean doesn't know eolr but his lse is insane, and I am thinking about learning eolr but I think I have good look ahead skills and can replicate what he does. So I can get an arrow for a case and then I can influence UL and UR edges, exactly what sean does. So should I continue with this and is this appropriate and optimal?
He does know EOLR. Learn it.
@@Kian_Mansour but is that pause to recognise where UL and ur edges are worth it? Cause it takes time to figure out where they are and then do a particular solution. Instead, get an arrow for every case and influence UL and ur edges. This is much more intutive and look ahead friendly. Thoughts???
@@Kian_Mansour like Sean's fifth solve LSE
@@ahumancubes9791 It's not that hard, you can plan EOLR before you start CMLL.
@@Kian_Mansour can you make a video about it?
Im sub 40 after a week with roux. Is that okay?
It is great
1:14 I would do U R U2 R' U' r' U' r
How can I develop that insane planning just that you did in 2 handed? Should I just practice and practice?
Whyud Yeah, Practice and sometimes Plan if you can, I used to do 2 Minutes when I first started, Now I can Do 30 Seconds or Lower
I am sub 20 but i cant do that greta planning
F
I'm learning and am solving OH. But my pinkie is dead lmao. How are your fingers ok lol.
Probably small hand, big and bad cube. Theres no other reason ur finger should hurt unless medical reasons
@@Smootcheee well I mean I am a 6th grade cuber lmao. I'm using a 56 mm cube. I was thinking on buying a 54 pr 55 soon.
Hi, kian! I'm a moderator on reddit, for a roux based community. In light of all the roux talk, I was wondering if you'd be interested in a communal event to promote the method and our community. I don't have any ideas yet, but I was inspired by your old video with example solves from a bunch of roux cubers. You've been a great help for all of us, and it would be nice to have you included. If possible, I would like to talk about this.
Thanks you in advanced
Karl
Bro upload a video please
Upload a video bro please
I learned that my 30 Seconds on my Rubix Cube Makes me a noob.
Then you learned wrong. You decide if you're a noob or not. Don't let people put you in a box. Took me like 5 years to be sub20. I was a noob for maybe the first 6 months while i learned the cubing world.
Ken Brunet amen
stop saying noob because noob means new smh
First
Do you think full CN is worth it for roux?
no, you only need 8 blocks (white and yellow all colors)
I think it's worth for FMC, but in speed solving, you probably took a long time in inspection because you already have 8 selection of block(white & yellow bottom). Having a lot of block selection only make you confuse when choosing block.
didie osman Kian says improve your inspection
Can you blindfold
I gave up cubing :'(
