I can't get odd frequencies. I need 147.315, but it only gives me 147.300, 147.325, and 147.350. How do I get the numbers for our repeaters in town? Any ones help would be appreciated. Ron WA4PMP Cincinnati
Hi Ron (WA4PMP), i assume you are also using a radio from the IC-706 family. If you press the TS button below the MODE, it will switch between a higher & lower frequency step. If you press & hold TS for a couple of seconds, it goes into settings mode, and you should see "25", indicating that your dial is stepping 25 KHz at a time. Now spin the large freq dial counter clock wide to change your freq delta. In your case, you should set it to 1 (KHz), then press TS again to save & exit settings. Now you can shift frequencies 1 KHz at a time, to any odd or even number. PS: You license is due to expire in a couple of months, don't forget to renew it. PPS: I used to live across the street from Jungle Jim's and Superior Toyota.

Baji. Even if I hit the TS button, it only changes from say n.350 to 147. I need ti get the frequencies in between. I can only get every 20, as 320 jumps to 340. Thats the problem. Can't get in between, such as 315. Any suggestions would be great. Ron wa4pmp 73"s
