I work at Trader Joe's and my favorite right now is the Cashew & Spinach Ravioli with the Kale Pesto mixed with the Dairy Free Boursin Cheese. The Boursin makes the pesto super creamy.

If you like chocolate bars with almonds in them, the TJs pound plus bittersweet chocolate with almonds is vegan (but not advertised as vegan)! And such a good value!

Have you tried the Soy Boy ravioli? It’s much cheaper than Kite Hill, and you should be able to find it at Wegman’s when you visit Chris’ family. It’s made in NY, but I’ve only seen it at Wegman’s (anywhere) or Whole Foods and health food stores in the mid Atlantic states.

If you haven’t yet, try the Silk Half and half. It has a teeny bit of natural sweetness from the oatmilk, but no added sugar. I hate sweet or flavored creamer, and the Silk is the perfect vegan creamer. I love these taste test videos.
The silk half anf half is the best. It's what finally got me off of dairy in my coffee.

I just went to trader joe's yesterday but obviously missed some things that I need to go back and buy. That ravioli is super good. I think I might make a creamy vegan pasta sauce next time I have it and add spinach, onion and mushrooms.

I have the same issue with silicone baking tins so while it takes a bit more time, I just prefer to use the metal tin on its own and make sure to butter or flour all the individual cups. Not only does it avoid the weird taste but it usually is more crispy :)
That’s so funny I love bbq sauce and I was so excited about that coffee version but thought it was so horrible that I had to throw it out. Great video!

I am so jealous about the spinach and cashew ravioli! There are very few vegan options in Poland but none of them is a remake of this classic combo which I totally miss being plant-based. It was such a staple product in my fridge for all the days I could not be bothered to cook. The best comfort food!
The oat dairy creamer is best/super bomb if you whip it with a frother and use it on top of iced coffee or a latte as like a sweet cream!!

When I’m trying to say something is fully if spices by not “hot/spicy”, I like to say it smells or tastes “spiced.”
I wonder if the TJ’s salad were stored upside down if it’d coat the kale better instead of trying to mix it in its tiny bowl?

it's stored that way so the greens don't wilt. You're supposed to shake it to distribute the salad dressing and toppings rather than trying to toss it in its bowl

Add some macadamia nut oil and cinnamon to the banana fritters before cooking. It makes them soooooo much better!!

The oat creamer is very sweet. I water it down with the Califia hazelnut creamer
My girlfriend says she knows exactly what you’re talking about with the soapy flavour from silicone. She asked if you use the Costco brand dishwasher soap because that was the culprit for her.
The banana fritters with some oatly vanilla ice cream is delicious 🤤
Banana fritters are the best snacks or desserts. I stocked up before it’s gone, I hope it’s not seasonal🫠
I think the soapy taste is literally just soap. I notice I have to give silicone things extra rinsing time. (But I don’t have a dishwasher.)
the vegan nacho dip is so good
I highly suggest the Jim Beam branded Maple Bourbon BBQ sauce. I can find it at Walmart.

Lol, I think your potato pasta idea is great, much better than spaghetti squash or something.
I have been just as obsessed with that nacho dip. I have never eaten it heated.
Give this a try: a tortilla chip (I like the Black bean and quinoa chips) with that nacho dip and thin a little bit of kimchi on top. That was the combination that I never knew I needed.
I also like the nacho dip just for plan raw cauliflower and broccoli.
The buffalo dip goes nice with those snack factory Pretzel chips (not at TJ's)

Often times soap can stick to silicone when there is oil residue on the product. Spraying with Lemon/lime juice or vinegar and washing throughly should help.
IDK if it is in the directions, but the vegan nacho dip you have you microwave for a short bit and it's AMAZING!

the ravioli is very good & a bargain! I love the Kite Hill but it’s definitely expensive. I usually only buy it on sale.

I add the bourbon vanilla extract from trader joes and cinnamon to the muffins and let the batter sit before baking, 11/10
