Yeah, I prefer this more well tempered version of Filthy, though many people seemed to enjoy the salty later version. I can't blame him for getting more ill tempered - I'm still playing the game some 6+ years after purchasing it, and I notice most games i start now just make me angry cause I don't get the spawn that I'm hoping for.
It looks so fun to look at multiplayer compared to single player. People barely build wonders in single player but in multiplayer they don't spare opportunity to build their favourite wonders
Had to look up the plural of oasis, was curious too. Seems like it's 'oasis. noun, plural oases. /oʊˈeɪ siz/ Show Spelled [oh-ey-seez] Show IPA . a small fertile or green area in a desert region, usually having a spring or well.'
My favorite religion. Desert Folklore, Tithe, Religious Community, Divine Inspiration and Messiah. Always have to make it Catholicism though since it's canon.
I think he explained it somewhere else. What I understood is that if a civ you know has got a tech that you don't, research gets a little cheaper. So you can compare a tech in the same column that noone else most likely has to the one you research.
+Alex B If you've met someone who already has a given technology there's a small science cost reduction, so if the tech's science value is lower than normal someone else has it.
Time seems to fly when you're actually playing the game compared to watching someone play it.
This dood plans his entire game strategy and plans like 30 turns ahead in seconds while it takes me several mins to choose what to build next haha
This game in a nutshell: filthyrobot tries to figure out how to say oases
Interesting to see how much more Filthy used to enjoy playing civ vs his later games
The NQ Mods completely ruined the mp game soooo
@@JasonVaysberg How?

Salt hasn’t passed the blood brain barrier yet
Baba Yetu managed better to adapt to new landscape of modded multiplayer with no quitters

Filthy when you look at the tech tree and mouse over certain techs, how do you tell which techs other players have?

For the other pedants Hagia Sofia is pronounced Hi-yah So-fee-a
How did you get this great production in your capital?
Klaus August Huns UA for pasture production, food trade routes allowing him to work production tiles, +13% from religious community, and Petra.
why market etc before courthouse?
+Patrick Courthouse is like 4 gold maintenance
How do you tell when people have a certain technology? I see that you're mousing over the tech tree, but what info are you looking at there?
+Alex B If you've met someone who already has a given technology there's a small science cost reduction, so if the tech's science value is lower than normal someone else has it.
Gotcha, thanks!
How did you know you would grab oracle? kind of late, right?
i'm drunk now and watching filthy domineering civ to get sober off :p
