CORRECTIONS 18:00 - That rabbi action has an exclamation (!) which means you don't lay the golem down, but Anastasia did lay it down. 1:12:44 - This is the first book added into a column, so Anastasia should have activated that upgraded artifact to gain 3 knowledge, 1 coin, and 1 clay.
Hi... Great video once more! :) I think that on your turn that ended at 1:36:30 you forgot to take 4 Knowledge because there were 4 marbles on that row...
You guys are great together as always, thanks! This game really does not display well on TTS, though, I found it hard to look at and ended up just listening to you three a lot of the time.
This one was quite challenging with so much going on. I was constantly chasing the action down with the camera, and even playing it without narrating can be challenging with so many things chaining into other things. Sorry this one didn't hit as well for you.
Jon, get it together man. It’s time you and Anastasia to slap Nick! 😁 Lovely play through. This game is growing on me. In general the theme, or should I say the setting, is very important to me. And the setting in this game (as well as the art) are not my cup of tea. But mechanically I am loving it. It gives me a Lacerda vibe (which I love). Speaking of which, I would love to see a Lacerda title in this series. (Please!) Again, good job all three. Love the series. ❤️
He hasn't won every game, but it's close! We are trying, I assure you, but so far Nick is doing very well in these videos :P We beat him more often than this when not recording so maybe he is just better at playing while the camera is on :) Regarding Lacerta, it's possible one of those could happen in the future but for the moment we don't have any plans. I'm glad you've been enjoying these!
@@GettingGames That is possible. Some people perform better under pressure. I am joking of course. 😉 I must say, the play style of all three of you is very close. How long have you guys been playing together?
Nick and I have been playing games together for at least 3 years, and Anastasia joined our gaming group a little over a year ago to play games with us on TTS during the pandemic.
Just when you were talking about the movement of the Golems around 1:00:00, you said you can choose to move 4 or 6, because you can ignore the Guest Cards movements. I had the understanding you could actually use partially the benefits of the cards, so in that case if you wanted to, you could move 4, 5 or 6, using only +1 from the Guest Card... This is like using partially the benefit from your golem upgrade.
The rulebook says "you may ignore the extra steps required by the current round's character card" so our interpretation was you either ignored all of them or none of them.
@@GettingGames at the appendix its written "all the bonuses in the game are optional: when you activate one you can decide to take it partially or not take it at all. the only mandatory effects are the golem movements in phase 2 and the golem track movements when creating or killing a golem"
Huh, yeah I guess I can see this as a possible interpretation for doing some of a character card. I feel like I'd want official clarification though since I could argue that doing partial pieces of effects means you do some of the indicated icons and not others, vs doing only part of a specific icon.
Interesting... I see your point and I didn't think about that at first. Is there anything related like this on BGG? I didn't look for any clarification on the forums there
Jon, I don't know if you don't know this or if you just don't use it for recording reasons, but while dragging a card, if your hold the right mouse button, the card will go to the bottom of the deck :) Anyway, just want to compliment these gameplays. They're easily the best TTS gameplays I've seen together with Heavy Cardboard. I want more! :)
I felt like the first few turns were a little hard to follow, that a couple of steps were glossed over a little. Maybe it's because you guys had played the game several times already, but it might be helpful if each of the players talk through their first few turns with a little more detail. However, after a little ways in and after seeing several turns, it was easier to follow. Thanks so much, the gameplay looks quite intriguing!
I wish they were also more consistent with the terminology. They sometimes say "gold" to mean gold bars, and sometimes to mean coins. That made it tough for me to follow at times.
Gold bars and golden coins was pretty frustrating. We tried to be consistent, but it seems like we messed that up still. Sorry this one was harder to follow in general, we do try to talk through our turns but with so much going on here it seems like we didn't do that as well this time.
@@GettingGames Just watched, very good video! I know this is months later but I think qu3tzl was saying that she used the rabbi action that activates a golem without having to lie it down, and she DID lie it down. The action has the little exclamation point similar to the right leg upgrade you and Nick did earlier.
I was very iffy on this game after the teach but it grew on me throughout the playthrough. Looks like it has some agonizing decisions but agonizing in a good way
I think this game needs a cheat sheet to ensure your getting all that you should and should be doing what is needed. There is a tonne going on in this game. Not sure if one could keep up.

Really good playthrough. I like especially Anastasia internal struggles that showcase well game decisions. Appreciate for doing those Jon

@@GettingGames S'all good, thanks for doing these and keep up the good work! Wish your channel lots of success 🏆
Also, at 1:12:58 Anastasia took the first book on a column, so she could activate one of her artifacts as well
Good catch! I've added corrections, thanks.

it is very detail for the play.
@ min 18 Anastasia used the rabbi action but I think you don't put of down.
I don't understand the issue you are trying to explain here, sorry.

What is the corrected final scoring? I wasn't able to follow all the comments

Any ideas when the game will be available?
Unfortunately I don't have any new information on this. I assume sometime early next year.

I can't imagine a future where I play this without making any mistakes with regards to bonuses and income.
@@GettingGames Great game by the play. You three have great energy, from a viewer perspective.
