I saw him in Toronto just a few years ago. I assure you his voice is as least as good as it ever was. In fact it sounded far better than this performance. He's probably the friendliest musician on the planet. Came down for "sweaty hugs" and handshakes after the show. I suspect he's a far more amazing man than musician and song writer. Given how great he is musically, I think it's the ultimate compliment I can pay him. I give thanks for his talents.
100% agreed. "Mighty Joe Moon" has been my favorite album since '94. Nothing has ever dethroned it, and I don't foresee it happening in the future. 10 years ago we were fortunate enough to have Grant play a private solo acoustic show for us here in Phoenix. He even joined us at our house for dinner. He is not only incredibly talented, but humble, kind, and hilarious. Very fast wit.
@@faustikorockit I live in hope that they might reform, but I guess it will never happen. I only saw them once at the QMU in Glasgow, a very good gig. I have watched the Gilmour Girls with my daughter and it was odd to see Grant pop up throughout the series. Did you manage to see them live at all ?
@@ScottishTeeVee yes, me too hope they, one day, will reform and they will make a reunion tour around the world. But me too think it will never happen. 😞"Gilmour girls"... I didn't know about this series, I will looking for this. And yes, I saw them in 1996 (July), in Carpi (Italy), at there time was the "Copperopolis" tour (If i rememeber well). They was amazing, a unique sound that mixed powreful and tenderness.
Thanks for watching and commenting Brian. Nice to see a comment from someone in the same country as me, because 99% of other viewers are from elsewhere, USA, Canada, Japan, Argentina etc. There's loads from GLB on this channel. Did you get a chance to see them live back in the day?
Amazing - cant believe no one commented on this gem yet. Out of curiosity, how old were you when you started your VCR collection and for how long did you do it?
I was 17 when I started recording video. I stopped almost overnight.. 23 years later and put everything into storage. So now after a ten year total break, Im once again sitting in a room with video tapes on shelves, floor to ceiling and with a piles of VCRs all hooked up. I don't trade with anyone, but Im back in touch with most of the people I traded with way back in the day, via Facebook. Thanks for watching, hope you are enjoying the uploads, I just added more from GLB yesterday.

Grant Lee Phillips, the man with the best voice ever 🙌🏻

GLB was (are) the rare jewels of the music.
Thanks for watching and commenting
For a second I thought that dude looks like Curt Smith. Well, he is!
Most underrated band of the 90s, and that's saying a lot since there were also bands like (Scots) Teenage Fanclub, Acetone, etc.

And when they toured years later Grant bust his ankle and the Glasgow gig got cancelled too😥
@@brianstewart3206 A shame you never saw them. I just caught them once, at the QMU in Glasgow, just over 30 years ago.
It’s funny that you are claiming credit for other people’s talents.
Who’s claiming what credit?!🤷🏼♂️🤔

ScottishTeeVee Thanks and keep up the great work.
@@ScottishTeeVee Why did you stop? I feel this would be an important plot point in the movie.
You mean VHS. Nobody collected video recorders.
abdominal snowman is way funnier then it needs to be
