    I know you've gotta keep the lights on with your sponsor stuff but I really enjoyed you giving us your real choices on baits no matter which company put them out, sponsor or not.. Love seeing a video along the lines of your older stuff that is just straight to the point teaching. keep up the great work man, you've made real differences for the better in peoples lives making good information so accessible to new and old fisherman alike.

    One way I like to describe why bass are tight to cover in muddy water is by relating it to when you're in a dark room. You aren't going to want to stand in the middle of the room with no point of reference. You're going to want to find the nearest wall or STRUCTURE to come into contact with so that you can figure out what your position is in the world. Same goes with our beloved bass and any other living organism who's senses are impaired by the environment. They'll want to figure out where they are, and establish comfort within that position until conditions clear up, or whatever is impairing their vision, or positioning senses clears up.I just thought I'd drop this little gem for you and my other fishing friends. Thanks for the awesome video Flukemaster!

    I wish you would grow as fast as the other guys. I remember when you were THE UA-cam fisherman (still are in my mind) UA-cam is a young market and your audience is mostly older . I like how you showed different companies in this video and not just biospawn. I knew when MTB was not right for you, when you got the sample packs in the probox you looked pissed. I also know that if Fluke says it's good then it is legit. Keep doing what your doing man you HAVE taught me how to fish.

    • @Flukemaster
      @Flukemaster  6 років тому +13

      I knew when I started this that it would be a slow and steady growth. That's just the nature of instructional content on the internet. Sensational entertainment grows popularity fast because everyone likes to be entertained. Not everyone wants to lean how to fish.

    Flukemaster: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stick to fishing public waters as much as possible! When you went down to Bienville for the winter, I almost stopped watching your channel because I wasn't learning much of anything that I felt was applicable to me. Private waters--especially in Florida--are simply unrealistic for 90% of us. I loved your old videos on Clarks Hill and a lot of the new ones at other PUBLIC venues. You are one of the best fishing mentors on UA-cam, but I just feel you will end up helping the most people by sticking to scenarios that are accessible to the largest % of viewers. Thanks for all the great content!! You're awesome!

    Gene...I am in a fishing funk brother. Went to Gville this last weekend and they had a college FLW tournament going. The weather wasn't as good as it was the week before when the lows were in the mid 50's, instead we got lows in the upper 30s and they had rain come in right before we went down there. I figured it was going to push the bass out a little bit and fishing wasn't going to be as good as it was the week before we got there. There was over 200 boats for this tournament and one third of them didn't have a fish to weigh. Since we were there for only a couple days we really didn't have time to idle around the lake and check the depth finder properly. There was a lot of Eel Grass and such so I was hopeful to stick to fishing pockets around the grass. Can you help me or direct me to a video where you address locating fish and how to put together a game plan before even throwing a bait in the water. Maybe I'm just overthinking it but when you come away from fishing Guntersville with just catching one drum and no bass all weekend I guess that'll do it to you... Keep up the good work and tight lines from a flukemaster fan from Kentucky

      Kevin H. Just from what I have luck with here on Pickwick, further west on the Tennessee, the crazy rainfall and the heat we have been having warm the ground up in between the cold has pulled them out of the main river up into the creeks where the runoff has warmed from the ground.

      Michael Fritz it's just a jack of all trades. It's not really bad for anything. You take a gamble when u go with the out there colors, it's go big or go home (obviously you still catch monster with green pumpkin but if the fishing isn't up to par a dark or wild color can make or break it)
