- Hey friends! Welcome back to my channel! Today's video we are doing a full review and swatches of the new Mary Kay Supreme Hydrating Lipstick line! It's been a while since I've done lip swatches and today we're swatching all eight shades! I hope you enjoy the video!
WEAR TEST: like most hydrating lipsticks, the wear time isn't the absolute best. This formula does fade throughout the day as you eat, drink and talk BUT they are incredibly easy and comfortable to re-apply. They also fade nicely so your lips aren't left with uneven colour.

Oh yippee, I was so happy to see your review! You can totally pull off all the colors and the Better Than Bare one is not one I would reach for but that's not going to stop me from ordering all of them!!! I am much more of a berry/pinkie type of gal, but we'll see maybe I'll like this one too. Thanks for sharing ~

Thank you!!! And yes they do transfer! They definitely don’t dry down due to the super hydrating formula. 😊 but they don’t bleed off your lips.

What color lip liner did you use with Better than bare?
I used Mac lip pencil in soar!! Super similar one from Mary Kay is the lip liner in Rose 💗💗
This is random, but what mascara are you wearing?
When you say that you're wearing Better Than Bare on top of a lip liner do you mean that you've covered every square inch of your lip with lip liner or do you mean that you just outlined the outer frame of your lips as in literally just one line around your lips?
Super great question!! I line the frame of my lips and then rub my lips together so a little bit of my lip liner colour goes across my entire lip surface. In this video I used Mac Soar which is a soft pink (very similar to Mary Kay Rose lip liner). I hope this helps!!

So you don't think it bleeds through? I have these and I feel like they tend to bleed through and make it look smeared lol
Do you have oily skin? I do and felt that. Apply a lip liner first and it holds better.
Does the lipstick have a scent?
Great question!! I don’t find that they have any scent which I think helps with the comfort so there’s no chance of irritation from a fragrance.
I like to have a light scent like vanilla or no fragrance to my lipstick. I just don't like it when it smells like plastic or chemically.
Love the better than bare. Such a pretty young lady.
