Its amazing to see with how little equipment you can create music and therefore be able to work anywhere. Thats awesome. I am also looking at the pocket 3. Seems to be a great camera for on the go.
Love this setup. In his weekly email Austin Kleon asked something like, "what's the bare minimum creative activity you need to do each day so you can show up elsewhere in life", especially over the holidays or if you're travelling. So I now pack at least a notebook and some good pens, and often some glue, scissors and sharpies too.
I have a sling bag like that and it blows me away with what I can cram into it. Currently my Legion Go and art pad live it. Maybe a small groove box comes along if I'm traveling
Great vid!! I've been jamming in nature for a long time and do it with the OP-Z vs. the OP-1 because of the sequencer and all that. Highly recommend visiting Big Sur. Lot's of beautiful vistas and beaches to get inspired by!!

Honestly, you should come see Moab and the overall Utah/Western CO landscape. I’ll give you a little tour. You camp under the stars in the desert, bring some music boxes for when inspiration strikes.😊
I love it when people (pros) like you make such videos like this. Personally, I got that stump of approval on the tascam x6 as a field recorder and interface🥳. However I feel like minimalism can sometimes be too minimal and gear can get in the way because it is not able to do the best it can. I'd suggest the brevite jumper as a backpack, at least a MacBook m1 air and at least a novation 25 key mini.
I now have the tx6 which is amazing as a sound card for the iPad / iPhone and be used as a field recorder thanks to the direct record to usb drive . In the move I like the Bose qc20 which is a wired I ear ANC headphone which is super compact . I plan to get a TP7 or try to find a second hand Sony DCM100 which is IMHO is the best handheld audio files recorder. I also got a KOII ep133 which is a very fun sampler / sequencer to work with And for field monitoring and mobile studio I either use dt770pro or audio technica ath pro 7x I used to go out with the tascam x8 but it’s bulky
Would you consider the tascam recorder for recording vocals, what microphone would you carry for vocals and if so could you please make a video about it please! 🙏
@TAETRO, I got a new tool for xmas that has been AMAZING for portable music production. You know my weapon of choice is guitar... so my wife got me the Line6 POD GO. This thing is amazing... amp simulations, tons of effects, expression pedal... and it's literally all you need, no amp, etc... Check it out if you have a chance, the new version pretty rad.

The og op-1 is the only piece of gear I take out in the wild consistently, once a week I like to go deep into the woods with my dog and make some music while she explores the sorroundings. I’ ve been thinking about getting a microphone for my phone and do some field recordings with it. If anyone has a suggestion It will be welcome😊
