Hi, Papercraft Friends, In this video, I share with you how to assemble the Magic Iris Die easily with this Step by Step Magic Iris tutorial. If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below. Question: Which Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Add-On would you like to see me create a card with? I hope you enjoy the video & thanks so much for watching :) Much love, Lisa xo
Thank you very much for a very good and professional tutorial. I have made some cards but sometimes it was fine sometimes difficult to turn and open or close so I was looking for another tutorial and found yours. I have just made two not to forget the steps and they very nice and good. I think the idea to attach tape on the stabilizers is what made it perfect and of course your very good explanation. It is difficult to pick up those sticky dots but when you manage to put them on the cross mark I advice you to use the paper where dots were attached and push them down off the tweezers with that paper. Thank you very much. These days I will have a look of your other old videos.
Thank you for this easy tutorial. My hubby just got me this new crafty find for my birthday and I'm so excited to see what I can come up with. This was a great video and would love to see the other cards you came up with! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
For your glue dots, you don’t need to pick them off the support sheet, they are able to be separated. Separate them remove the protective film and then use the bottom as a carrier sheet to adhere to the x’s on the project. Works every time and you don’t end up with uneven glue dots. Hope that helps.
@Joyann Butcher Thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment :) I personally found the LF Magic Iris die a little confusing the first time I used it, so I thought a tutorial may, hopefully, help others. Have you created an interactive card with the Magic Iris yet?
@D Pauley Designs Thanks so much for your kind comments Dawn. I'm glad you found it easy to follow :) The video is a bit longer than I anticipated, but I wanted to get as much detail in as I possibly could. Which Magic Iris card (video) do you think I should upload to my channel next? I recorded all three MI cards, so it's just a matter of editing the video :)
I always have trouble with my magic iris. I don't have the stabilizers too tight and I have enough foam tape so the mechanism is completely clear of anything that could hinder it. I just can't get it to behave correctly.

@@papercraftbusiness2783 No not as yet. The die is very expensive here in Australia. It is on my wish list.

Me too. Not sure why. It will work a few times then suddenly get stuck.
The glue dots on a roll works better when applying because you don’t have to touch them.
