Go to the Isle of Thunder in Pandaria, kill rares until you get the Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion, It will start a quest chain. Pretty easy to do nowadays. Or you can buy the Tome with gold on the AH if there are still people who farm those on your server.
The melee are doing so much more damage what’s really the point of bringing warlock damage is vary lack luster almost anyone can have brez , on the first pull the tank beat you

I'm not debating that, but the random Ret Pally is just doing so much more damage ., and you did get out damaged by the tank with CD's used I'm attempting to point out how lackluster warlock really is not you as a player , I have no doubt your good and CE QUALITY
The question is skewed: what's the point of playing non-meta classes is your real question. And the answer is: why not? Is this MDI ? Often times people playing off classes with the same RIO as another fotm player will know and play the mechanics better
@@HDSFATDPS its not about meta all Ranged DPS is 20% or more behind melee right now in the hands of general players you have to exteramly exceptional to out dps a random ret pally playing a 4 button class with six or seven ways to cheese mechs
I'm not saying that you're saying I'm bad. My original question still stands though because I just think you're focusing on biased information (literally one pull) and trying to make an entire case out of it. You're pointing out one pull where I'm PURPOSELY single targeting the big mob and where there 5 or 6 meaningless little adds that get padded on by the tank and melee which contribute to the higher overall as you point out. Most of the overall damage up to the first boss is pointless pad thanks to those meaningless little adds that die in 5 or 10 seconds (which you should basically be ignoring as destro). Also, if you go to the end of the video my end of dungeon overall is the same as the other two melee that have an additional warrior buff over me. We also time the key with about 2 minutes left. Seems like warlock is fine to me man. Overall damage on details is not the end all, be all metric of spec viability and success and I feel like people put way too much value into it sometimes without any thought. For example, I can go into Necrotic Wake with a full pad build and spam rain of fires on necromancer packs to inflate the hell out of my end of dungeon overall but what am I really accomplishing by doing that other than prolonging the necro packs and raising the likelihood that my party wipes. In that scenario if I'm doing that then I am 100% playing wrong even though it might not be visible through the overall.
