I love Connor so much. He is the only one of the Keating Five that is an actual human. He feels guilt as they all should and nobody gets him. He is the only one who wants to go to jail because he knows he can’t live, if he’s not suffering from the consequences. Connor changed so much during these seasons and I absolutely love him!!
So did Asher. Only Michaela didn't cause she's selfish and likes to play the victim

Audacity OfYouth Laurel did the right thing at the end because Frank and Annalise beg her not to testify, and I think that without her relationship with Frank she would never have accepted,
for me she should have made the right choice from the beginning , Annalise was there for her more than anyone, she should have been on her side from the beginning without Frank or Annalise convincing her not to testify against Annalize
for me Laurel has always been more selfish than the others, she ran away like a thief leaving her family to attack everyone, Frank almost died for her and her son, also the others in season 4 risked their lives for her, and besides she runs away again at the end without saying anything to Michaela, I didn't like Michaela at the end but she was always there for Laurel , okay she had a baby now but why she acts like a ungrateful
Connor is clearly the one who always felt the most guilt, he had a very bad experience with Sam's murder more than anyone, and besides we see that he no longer participates in any of their plan after that
If you go back to season 1 and see how he was it's almost unrecognizable. His character development is everything, so well done.
Connor loves Oliver more than he loves himself. That's why he did what he did. He doesn't want to bring Oliver down with him.

To be honest I’m so freaking glad they did. Connor did this for his conscience and he’ll live the rest of his life happy with Oliver without feeling guilty about it. I like to think that the truth came out sometime after he got jailed and Annalise pulled some strings to get Connor out of jail early, or that he got out on good behavior. Although Laurel didn’t go to jail, she was there at Annalise’s funeral and was honest about it. In fact, although Michaela didn’t get jail time, I just know she’s living the rest of her life unhappy and tormented by all the guilt she felt- she didn’t even go to Annalise’s funeral, which indicates that it still haunts her and she feels immense guilt. In hindsight, going to jail was the right thing. It’s better to be held accountable for five years (most likely less) than live the rest of your life (which is probably 40+ years for them) tormented every single day. I’d say Connor and Laurel won in the end! And I know that Connor would be very successful since he did the right thing in sticking by Annalise, so she can help him advance his career :)
They are soulmates so no matter what they were bound to end up together.

idk because Connor was the one using Oliver at first. He was an a**hole at first and yes his character development did save him from doing something stupid. Connor almost made his relationship with Oliver became toxic at first but Oliver stop it (and Connor decided that he wanted to do something to protect the person he loves). But telling the truth or lying will lead them to the same ending anyway because someday Connor will get catch. He said the one keeping him normal (human) and sane is Oliver. And I can understand that, look at the other people, they don’t have a lover that “outsider” that’s why they can’t keep their mind clear. And Connor’s blaming himself for Oliver’s hiv even though Oliver said it’s nobody fault.

everyone's acting here was masterclass, esp Conrad's. from the breaks in his voice to the brows of denial then doubt, to the tremors in his fist. and the music and timing was top-notch

There's also a sliver of a tear falling at 1:14. I've rewatched this scene too many times and cried every time.
They still stayed together , because at the end when they were at the memorial, if u paus at the right moment you can see that they both had rings on when they clinged their arms to eachother when they saw chrisopher
Technically they could've remarried after the whole ordeal but you definitely know they're still together in some sense they were together and, if I remember correctly, holding hands at the memorial

He didnt want his love of his life to go to prison and wouldnt you all do the same. even though the relationship was toxic because oliver said that he owed him this chance which love isnt owing your partner vise versa he was trying to look out for him. i know he was being selfish but i cant blame someone that i would do the same if i was in the situation this scene made me cry because this is literally reality, how people hold on to things that in the end seems impossible to hold on to. oldy coliver had me in tears.

Connor wants to own up to what he did and be a better man but Oliver doesn't let him, if they kept the lies someone innocent can go to jail, someone that saved them in the past. Oliver doesn't get to do that, blame it all on someone else and have his happy ending.
Annalise Keating is not innocent. She made them what they are. She enabled them. Manipulated them into becoming her pawns. She deserved to pay for everything

I just binged this show in 2 weeks. Started the show blind and the story and characters were fine, but by mid S1, I was on the Coliver train and that was the main force that drove me to binged the whole show. The storyline and other characters were ok, I sometimes just scrolled through my phone etc but I'll focus fully on Connor, Oliver and Coliver scenes.

I want to feel bad for Oliver, but I just couldn’t. He was told multiple times that Connor couldn’t live with the guilt and he keeps saying “what about me”. If Oliver or Connor lied on the stand, he would send Annalise to jail and Laurel leaving Christopher alone and probably into the foster system. He kept saying “me” “me” “me” but how can you ask the love of your life to live with a guilt for the rest of his life after he told you so many times he couldn’t bear w it?
If he really cares about himself he could have just left. He stays and risks it all because he considered "we" all the time. It's not selfish. The K5 or AK were Connor's friends not Oli's. The love for Connor's the only reason Oli sticks to this mess. Imagine your husband/wive insists they want to go and suffer in jail, would you let them? He's the most normal person in this series
When I first watched the last episode, to be honest, I didn't feel super satisfied. Not to say I could have come up with a better ending but it felt like flat to me. Thinking about it again though, there was really no better way to wrap up each character's storyline. Throughout the 6 seasons, each of the characters have grown and developed from the first episode we saw them in. Connor's storyline with Oliver made him learn to love and feel. Like Michaela, he was ambitious and did whatever he had to do to get to the top (lie about his admissions essay, screw people to get information he wanted, etc.) but having Oliver in his life made him rethink that mindset. Having someone in his life that he truly loved and truly loved him back made him learn to be less selfish. As a result, Connor felt his guilt and going to jail was the only way he could've lived with himself after everything that happened. Oliver was the perfect embodiment of "he makes me a better person". And in the end, Connor knew he had to repay that gift to him. He had to stop Oliver before he went down that road himself, even if it was to protect Connor because this was Oliver's way of being selfish. I'm glad though that they still ended up together in the very end. I would've loved to see them rebuild their relationship, putting this past them and getting the closure they needed. But truly one of my favorite tv couples!
Very well said. Connor has always been trying to protect Oliver since season 1, even as Oliver tries to go deeper into their circle of shady stuff.
I think here Connor is trying to protect Oliver from both Connor and Oliver himself. He thinks that him being in jail and Oliver loving him is not the life or happiness he wants for Oliver. And like you said, protecting oliver from turning Into this liar person and sacrifice himself just för Connor.
*I think oliver got use to the rush of life after awhile. The murder, death, horror every day became exciting for him (Lets not forget how typical and normal his life was before, which he didn't really seem like he had friends either) So I could understand Oliver's selfishness here. He would rather have a chaotic love rather than returning to the world with no love, which is probably why he waited for connor to get out of jail to get back with him (Hence why they both were at the funeral)*

Le sentiment de culpabilité de Connor aura été son arc narratif en continue sur toute la série. La case prison était la seule option pout lui pour qu'il puisse se décharger de ce qu'il a vécu avec le meurtre de Sam où il a été pris dans une spirale cauchemardesque. Son évolution est la plus impressionante de toute la serie. D'un personnage prétentieux et orgeuilleux, il est devenu aimant et au final loyal auprès d'Analyse en n'acceptant pas cette dernière offre d'immunité où elle aurait pu être condamnée. A la sortie de prison il retrouve son mari qu'il aime plus que tout et qu'il a voulu protéger jusqu'au bout! Bravo Connor!!!

I can’t blame Oliver. Connor was always the one who wanted to go to the police from the beginning. He was the most honest and he didn’t deserve it. Oliver was trying to protect him because Connor battled with blaming himself for everything and he wanted to be good. I understand why he did what he did though.

Idk if it’s just me being so attached to Connor and Oliver or what, but my heart just can’t accept how this went down.
My mind understands why Connor’s doing all this. Willingly going to prison to deal with his internal guilt despite having the chance to have no jail time, trying to divorce Oliver to better him etc., I get it all and where Connor’s coming from.
But god damn, I just wish that I could accept it cause I’ve literally been so heartbroken towards the end of this season, more so than I should be over fictional characters😭
Thankfully the flash forward showed them staying together, happy and married. It honestly wasn’t enough for me lowkey cause I wish we got more. Something more definitive for them before we got to see them old, but I’ll settle. Definitely gonna take me a while for me to fully mend my heart over them, but I’m super glad to have experienced their love story. Gonna miss them so so much ♥️

Oliver was not about himself. If he was all about himself he would just flee like what Asher did. He just denied to see Connor suffers. Going to prison is obviously a suffering
I think Connor's loyalty to AK was secondary to the fact that: i.He really wanted to go to prison to atone for his guilt and actions. ii. if AK lost, then Laurel will have to go to prison and Christopher will be without his mom.
Getting out of jail early would be nice. But I also wonder what happen to Oliver and Connor in after that. Like did Connor became a lawyer or maybe a social worker? Did Oliver continue with his IT company?
Une scène particulièrement émouvante. L'amour entre Connor et Oliver a été un magnifique fil conducteur de cette série... il contrebalancait toutes ces sombres histoires... l'amour pouvait exister malgré toutes les épreuves.
Bravo Connor pour ce choix. On peut sur le coup penser que c'est injuste et que ça va ruiner sa vie... (alors qu'il est sans aucun doute le moins impliqué dans tous les meurtres). Mais finalement, l'amour triomphera quelques minutes plus tard dans l'épisode. En les voyant réunis, j'ai versé ma larme... on ne sait pas ou quand comment mais ils sont de nouveau reuni. On pouvait pas espérer une meilleure fin pour eux :)

This was Connor's last attempt to 'protect" Oliver. Just like he tried at the end of Season 3 when he told Oliver "You were right to break up with me", or asking Oliver to go to the police. It's so heartbreaking to see how Connor still blames himself:
"And I'm not gonna ruin your life for that entire time"
...
"I'm gonna be all alone if you go through with this"
'Only until you meet someone who's actually good for you."
"No that's you."
"I've turned you into a criminal!"
And you can see how much it hurt and pained Connor to say those words to Oliver "I don't love you.". He wasn't even able to say Oliver's name at the end. Like in S2/S3, he will say "I love you Olie" or S4 "Marry me, Oliver Hampton".

I watched the first two seasons then just skimmed them for Colliver until season 5. Watched 5 and 6. I do recommend 5 and 6. 4 was garbage. Forget 4.

Connor should have never been in jail!!! From what I remember he was the only one from K5 and maybe Laura that didn’t kill anyone. All he did was cover up Sam’s murder that was committed by Michaela and Wes. Connor was the only one that felt guilty! He wanted to confess so bas but Annalise bullied him into not doing it. All the cover up murders was killing him inside that he became suicidal. I’m only mad at Annalise for bullying and manipulating them into covering up deaths. I honestly believe that some of the members from K5 didn’t feel guilty for killing people. I wish that Michaela ended up in jail!!! She lied, killed 2 people etc! She never deserved to be a judge!

But imagine Oliver lives the rest of his life buried in the feeling that Conner never love him, all they had is a lie. We all know it isn’t, but the impact of those words is horrible
@@blahblahsuperanon He would’ve never gotten over the guilt, he just felt like he had to be punished and that justice should be given for his crimes. It wouldn’t have erased his guilt, it’d just make him feel like he wasn’t living his life at the expense of someone else’s.

Telling the only person he's ever loved that he doesn't love him is beyond cruel. With just this lie, he's tainted all the memories they created together, and makes it harder and longer for Oliver to get over them because it's the last thing he will remember.
This you-have-to-be-cruel-to-be-kind trope is so Korean drama ... it is used so many times, it gets tedious.
Too bad the writers got too lazy to come up with something better than this lie, and so manipulative just to get every drop of tears from the fans of this couple.

Michaela had kids, and honestly guys I’m pretty sure she had a great life, and maybe were all watching different shows but Michaeal constantly help cover up everyone else mistakes, and went along with plans even if they ruin her career prospects.
