I was on stock pads/ fluids while running michelin pss tires. By the end of the track day I burned through a fresh set of pads. Being able to swap in some motul brake fluid was the only reason we were able to continue having fun without having to leave but I did not push the car anymore that day since I did not have the confidence in the brakes anymore for good reason
You do not have to buy anything extra to keep the ebrake working. Stoptech has two different rotor hats and the ones I got are intended to keep the ebrake assembly intact
Yes, the plan is to install some bucket seats but I have not decided on which ones I want. The seats I really wanted are practically impossible to get at this point.
That was why I was always so hesitant to buy a bbk. But I’ve lost my stock brakes at the track before and that was a big reason why I was willing to upgrade to a bbk. Just piece of mind knowing when I stomp on the brakes they won’t ✌🏽
Seems that whenever anybody fits a BBK them seem to become butchers! What’s with the rear brake shield ffs🤔🙄 Pop the rear brake shoe assembly off, unbolt & do a job properly ffs!🙄 I’ve got the AP racing radical calipers on mine, took the time to remove the shields in the correct manner tho… unlike some!🙄
Lmao if you say so buddy. I did have it off but if you actually looked at your work you’d see the ebrake assembly becomes exposed which will end up with issues down the line but ok 👌
Your e46 looks killer! Especially with those lmr and stop techs
thank you, it really transformed the car and the stopping power with the BBK is so good. A huge upgrade over stock
Looks great!!
Thank you, Andrew!!! such a huge upgrade
Hi, do these fit on a non M e46? For a 330ci
Stoptech does make specific ones for non-m models. You just have to look it up under your model and it’ll show you all of the options available
When you say you lost stock brakes on track, what pads/fluid/tires was that on?

Do you have to buy anything extra for the ebrake to fit on larger rotors?

How much did it cost?
It was like 9.3k with tax and shipping
@@MunichVenom bruh... I bought whole m3 for 8k 😅😅 its not bad btw 😉

There are some good deals to be had with the m3s. Even though a lot of them are selling for ridiculous prices nowadays
