My heart completely melted when Meredith was asking for a science book!! What I really appreciated is the fact that you listened and helped her narrow down what she liked about science. Well done, Mama!!
From upstate NY ( Central NY) Yeah, we play soccer outside in the rain, sleet, and even snow. Soccer season for us is in the fall. Typically starts end of August with games starting in September. Winter is Basketball season in the north.
I loved hearing Meredith talk about her love of Science! Thats the age I miss. So innocent and pure. Everything in life is so exciting through their viewpoint! Precious ❤
Today is 45 and windy in Wisconsin and we are LOVING the warm weather today. Everyone is out, no jackets, going on walks, playing frisbee 😂 We don’t have winter soccer, we have fall and spring soccer and we still play when it’s snowing
Trust me xxx I’m an empty nester and I DO NOT miss the washing and cleaning. I miss the kids and the crazy fun but not the work! Now grandchildren are arriving and that is amazing !
This coming from a Washington native who played outside soccer for like 15 years… when it snows you play in the snow. When it rains, you play in the rain! 😂 40* was a normal temp for fall soccer. You wear under armor layers, gloves, and beanies.
Love the slow mo shots and close ups lol 😆 love the dancing as always and amazing comfort recipes you always do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You bring so much joy and smiles to everyone 🙏🥰😁
Kim, I lived in Northern Wisconsin most of my life until I was 42. I moved from there to Florida for a year. I'm telling you, once it reaches below 70°F degrees, it feels like a 30°F Wisconsin temperature. So if it's 45°F there, I know you're freezing.🤣🤣🤣
Yummy recipes Kim! It's been cold, no snow, though it's been in the 30's to 40's it did get down to the late 20's here in Eastern Washington state! Thanks for sharing! ❤️😉🫂🐾📓✏️🧶🧵🪡❄️🌬☃️✨️
Your conversation with Meredith was just the sweetest ❤️ I was born, raised, and still live in Northeast Wisconsin🐄🧀💚💛🏈 It going to be almost 50 here tomorrow! That’s a tropical heatwave for us 🤗🤣
You start to miss them before they even move out, especially if you have a kid involved in a lot of activities. Once they can drive, it is basically not the same!
I played soccer in ND during March - May. We often played with snow and wind. It required a lot of leggings under shorts, long sleeves under jerseys, mittens, winter hats, and sometimes even winter coats under jerseys.
Wow, cancelled for 45°, that’s crazy. Here in Ohio my daughter had to walk to school (2 miles) with a wind chill of -15°. Schools didn’t close the day we got 12 in. Of snow. 🤣
Hello from Germany, we have 2 weeks snow - 8°c in the nights (17.6 degree/ grad Fahrenheit ) Since 1 week we have 2°c (35) at day and so windy / rainy....
I'm in north florida we got flurries but drove about an hour and went just north of Perry and got to play in the snow. I grew up in the Tampa area though and so did my dad and he always told me about when it snowed in '77 in florida when he was a kid so it was awesome to live in FL where my kids could experience the same thing my dad got to ❤ You are so amazing to watch or even listen to and such a comfort when I have so much to get done! Thank you for being you 🥰
OMG! Your laundry room performance of “Ode to Clean Clothes” totally cracked me up! And your chocolate peanut butter pie looked fantastic! Another fun day in Wads World!😊
I’ve used cake boxes with your recipe and I get compliments FROM MY HUSBAND Thanks I like being complimented ( for such an easy job ) I’m the lady in the middle of the room trying to find out where to go. ❤
It’s funny how everyone sees cold different . We went on vacation to Florida one winter and everyone was so nice apologizing because they thought it was cold. Felt good to us we had shorts on and everything! It was warm for us! Lol
Hi , from England ! It is +7 degrees Celsius , no snow , just rainy day ! I like the snow , i miss the snow so so much ! I’ve been living in England for 11 years , but i’m from Romania , where we have 4 seasons ! Kisses , beautiful family ! 🥰❤️💕
It’s a beautiful, sunny 24 degrees in upstate NY. Which feels warm compared to the last week or so when it was single digits! 45 sounds like spring to me 😂
Southern illinois here and still dealing with piles of trees that didn’t survive our ice storm. We still have ice on our side roads and less traveled areas. Our kids have Spring and Fall soccer OUTSIDE. The kids play in rain, sleet, mud, high winds. It’s absolutely miserable sometimes to sit and watch. They’re at least moving and keeping somewhat warm. We parents have to bundle in layers, hold umbrellas and pray not to freeze to death lol
I'm in Chicago and last week the high was like three degrees, so 44 today was like a dream. I always tell people that 40 degrees coming out of summer is an absolute nightmare, but 40 degrees in the dead of winter is a dreaaaaaaaam.
Hey Kim. The big whisk is crazy 😂. I thought that would be good used with a big cast iron pot over an outdoor fire making apple butter. The science discussion with your child was so adorable. My grandson wants to be in science. He's great coming up with new science ideas. The food looked delicious. Does your meat recipes taste better using sausage verses beef? In my day 😂 some people don't want to hear that. Who cares my house my kitchen. We made homemade cake and put home canned cherries or peaches or whatever we had on hand and that was the original dump cake. Yes it was around before these new chefs were born. In my day 😂. Take care. ❤
When I was little Romania was full of snow and 1 to 3 metre snow even in the town was a paint to moe but now the last 6 years we have sunny winters but colder than with the snow. We can see snow, now only at the mountains. But ist still wery cold now we have -2 degrades celsius
In Idaho we play soccer in the spring and fall. Kids wear long sleeves and pants under their jersey, along with gloves and maybe a hat. Some areas have indoor facilities...lucky ducks!
Since Alex is ex/current military you should have access to an Army Wellness Center which will give you a metabolic test and a bod pod scan which I think is probably the machine you are referencing. It’s all free for active and retired military & family. Might be a day trip but I used to be a health educator and one and the information they provide is helpful and a steal of a deal
I don’t keep paper towel on my counter top because it’s too accessible. It’s under the counter and I use less than 1/2 because I will usually grab the towel first.
In Michigan girls soccer starts in March and yes we do have snow and a lot of rain at that point. Boys high school soccer plays in Fall. Travel teams take a break in winter months but they usually play in leagues indoors soccer arenas. Lol
had someone write, that the rest of the vanilla bean can be vanilla sugar, when it is fillt with some white sugar in a little marmelade jar. In Germany we take these vanilla sugar mix untill some time of waiting for the flavor - on Ricepudding - in German MILCHREIS (milkrice) with cinnemon sorry my english is not good i like when "the" wonderful Kim "Lady" sometimes use german words and i wonder if somebody of the Amerikan People knows what she wants to say - 💗
As a Canadian play soccer mostly indoors in winter season, though this year played 3 games up to mid November outdoors we just dress appropriately to play
$3 blows my mind! 1 vanilla bean pod here last time I checked was $13!! For one! 😮😳😩 Happy for you and it gives me hope that one day I’ll find a good deal on some!! 😊
Florida cold is COLD! I'm a Central Florida/North Georgia girl and I believe that it is so cold in Florida because the humidity freezes. In North Georgia it is dry in the winter but in Florida it is still humid (to a degree) in the winter.
See this has always been the British argument when it comes to our weather, noone takes into account humidity. Being a small island it's basically always humid here, (rn @11.30pm 28th January 2025 it's 1c & 83% humidity no rain all day, but was 7c/45f during the day). Humidity really affects how much you feel the weather cold or warm! The cold goes deep in your bones when it's damp/ high humidity and despite it not getting very hot often in the UK, when we get 33c/92c with that same high humidity and NO AIR CONDITIONING it's like breathing in a steam room which is why you hear everyone complaining!
So I looked it up... And 45*F is a little more than 7*C (7.22*C)... Which is cold for me too! Although earlier in January I've experienced -2*C for the first time... That's SO COLD!!! I don't know how people in Canada (a famously cold place) live! I Loved the Science speech! Don't forget to define Science before she starts learning! My. Meredith! 🥰
Not sure if you have tried this for crust or not, but I do half butter, half shortening for mine (using a very basic recipe from my great-grandmother). It makes it nice and flaky, good flavor, etc.
Ok, Savannah, Ga here. Last week 4 inches snow! After 6 days it’s still around here and there and I’m over it! We don’t do snow ❄️, 😊It shut us down for over a week!
So here in Iowa we play soccer in the spring April-June. So theres that 😂 also in the fall yes we think 45 is cold also! But when it gets down to -10 real feel or -30s with wind chill and then the temps go back up to like 10-20 degrees that's when you say OK it's nice out today!
Hi Kim! I am not one to usually get influenced but I tried LMNT using your link from your last video and i am loving it. I have it in place of my afternoon coffee and feel like i have more energy. My youngest is two and we had four kids in six years. I am finally trying to prioritize my health this year (so i can better take care of everyone else). Anyway thank you for being a friend and for sharing what is working for you.
It’s 18 today in the part of Idaho where we live ;) our kids play year round baseball and practice indoors at times but also start in outdoors in Feb snow rain or shine along with wind. So dang cold. They only stop for lightening🤣 We are headed to Florida next month and we are so excited and have never been! So looking forward to the warmer weather☀️ As always enjoy you sharing parts of your life 💕
I know what you mean about the house clutter but it doesn’t look cluttered. Nothing matches but it all goes together. I am trying so hard to accomplish that
You know it's cold in FL when they close the golf course down! Here in Michigan, we finally had a high over freezing. A whole 37°F. And then the wind blew & it feels like it's freezing again. 🥶
hey hey lovely lady, hahahahhaha i sing when i am cleaning all the time ... then comes the dancing lol but the next day i do feel it a little till we do it all again lol .... couldn't be more true with how fast time flys and the kids grow so many pro's and con's 110% but to watch them grow into their own creativity and their new and outstanding personality's it wraps my body with warmth lol from our family to yours we all hope you have a wonderful day
Hi there, I’m English and I know exactly what you mean. I’m a mixture of yourself with the red coat and long skirt and your glasses. And I’m the one with the white hat coat and red pants… I wish I could insert a picture 😊. You are awesome Kim.❤❤
Trust the applesauce I have been doing that for 30 years IT WORKS only in sweet things obviously. When my hubby was diagnosed with diabetes I worked hard to make healthier meals What I got in return was children who were less dependant on sweet and greasy things. I make a mean banana oatmeal muffin they are sooo good and you can add nuts or dates or raisins ..you get the drift.
I'm in Southern California and it's COLD here too...37 at night and 50s during the day. I'm wearing thermals and sweats 🥶 with heater on. Yup I'm definitely a Summer gal 💜💙💚💛🧡
We left snow up in TN to spend time on the beach in AL and it snowed 9 inches while we were there last week!! They said it beat snow records since 1895?!? Craziness!!
My gym in Wa state does this same thing (the scan)if your a member once a month for free, plus you can meet with a personal trainer to go over it.❤ your doing great Kim!
Wow! I had no idea thred up had that feature! I totally understand and agree, the need for help getting fashion ideas! Me too! Plus sizes make it a further challenge. Goals= learning to sew, simple clothing so I can have NATURAL fabric clothing FINALLY! Linen, cotton, wool etc (The few I do own actually DID help with hot flashes! I now understand why its popular!)
Soccer is seasonal in cold states. We have Spring Soccer, and Fall soccer for recreation soccer. School soccer is a fall sport. There is some indoor soccer in the winter for more select teams.
My heart completely melted when Meredith was asking for a science book!! What I really appreciated is the fact that you listened and helped her narrow down what she liked about science. Well done, Mama!!
You know it's going to be a good day when it starts with the Kim video :)
I agree 🎉
Definitely agree 💯
Heck yeah!! ☀️☀️☀️
❤ always
Meredith is just the sweetest. Hearing her talk about wanting to learn about science was too cute.

English woman here!!!! VERY FEW of us wear hats… aside from that, yep can see it… I love a good Jumper and scarf 🧣
I LOVE little Meredith wanting a science book! How stinking cute is she!

I am from Denmark and my son also plays in all kinds of weather. The only time they don’t play is when there is solid ice on the field😅
We live in GA, and we play in all weather. Including 95 degrees and 1000% humidity in September 😂
Fantastic recipes. I loved your conversation with Merideth about science. She is so sweet. You always brighten my day Kim!!
Goooooood Tuesday morning, Kim and Party people from Southwest Tennessee.
Good morning, Kim! I'm in Minnesota, and we have hardly had any snow this year. It's weird, but I love it!Have a great week, everyone!❤

You bring so much joy and smiles to everyone 🙏🥰😁
You are the woman across the room to me!! Thanks for bringing some happy to my day!
Kim…I drink coffee everyday and I do not have my life together at all. I’m definitely on the struggle bus with you.

From Ohio I would say 40 degrees and up is when I start wearing shorts lol 😅
You start to miss them before they even move out, especially if you have a kid involved in a lot of activities. Once they can drive, it is basically not the same!
Thanks for putting a little happy in my day, Kim!!
I played soccer in ND during March - May. We often played with snow and wind. It required a lot of leggings under shorts, long sleeves under jerseys, mittens, winter hats, and sometimes even winter coats under jerseys.

Well, she did correct herself and say it was probably due to rain.
Really needed a cozy cooking with Kim today to get inspired!🎉
Hello from Germany, we have 2 weeks snow - 8°c in the nights (17.6 degree/ grad Fahrenheit )
Since 1 week we have 2°c (35) at day and so windy / rainy....

I loved all stages of my kids lives. But I enjoy the relationship with my adult kids, and my grandkids so much.
OMG! Your laundry room performance of “Ode to Clean Clothes” totally cracked me up! And your chocolate peanut butter pie looked fantastic! Another fun day in Wads World!😊
I get so excited when your videos come up. I just love you girl.
Your science conversation with Meredith.... ❤

It’s funny how everyone sees cold different . We went on vacation to Florida one winter and everyone was so nice apologizing because they thought it was cold. Felt good to us we had shorts on and everything! It was warm for us! Lol
From hurricans to snow storms!
You look so pretty today!
My toddlers and I are sick with the flu. We love your videos ❤
Hi , from England ! It is +7 degrees Celsius , no snow , just rainy day ! I like the snow , i miss the snow so so much ! I’ve been living in England for 11 years , but i’m from Romania , where we have 4 seasons ! Kisses , beautiful family ! 🥰❤️💕

West Northern Illinois here, are weather is warmer this year up here but in sports us parents use weather pods and snow pants to help stay warm.
Southern Illinois here too! It's so warm today! 🌞

Well, here in good old Hungry Horse, MT I woke up to 2 degrees on my way out to work 😂 Absolutely ready for sunshine!
When I was little Romania was full of snow and 1 to 3 metre snow even in the town was a paint to moe but now the last 6 years we have sunny winters but colder than with the snow. We can see snow, now only at the mountains. But ist still wery cold now we have -2 degrades celsius
As a native Floridian who know lives in Colorado, 45°F in Florida feels colder because of the humidity!
Happy Tuesday! Thanks for another wonderful video. Keep warm.☀️💕
In Idaho we play soccer in the spring and fall. Kids wear long sleeves and pants under their jersey, along with gloves and maybe a hat. Some areas have indoor facilities...lucky ducks!
We had a sunny 41C/105F☀here in Sydney on Tuesday. Sweated my buns off, I much prefer Winter. Also are those pickles on the tea towel? love it 😄

I so enjoyed this! Another great video. Meridith was so sweet asking about a science book. Thank you for the new recipes they all looked delicious.
Always look forward to your videos Kim
Kim’s around the house videos are my favourite ❤

As a Canadian play soccer mostly indoors in winter season, though this year played 3 games up to mid November outdoors we just dress appropriately to play
Soccer is not played in the winter up here in Ohio except a few indoor leagues. Schools play either fall or spring.

I'm here in Tallahassee and we got about 3 inches at my house!!! My kids had so much fun ☃️
Omgosh the science conversation was thee cutest ❤
I love the recipes! My sister would eat Bakers Chocolate when we were kids. I would gag, so nasty and bitter. Have a great week 😊!
Good morning Kim…you are the woman across the room … so relatable…I love it❤
Yay good morning 🎉 I am it south Texas so I relate to feeling freezing in 40 degree weather. But please turn on the heater 😅
Not sure if you have tried this for crust or not, but I do half butter, half shortening for mine (using a very basic recipe from my great-grandmother). It makes it nice and flaky, good flavor, etc.
In Las Vegas over here and freezing my butt off! Crazy!! Hello party people! ❤
I live in Cantonment Fl. A speedbump away from Pensacola. The snow was crazy! Stay warm my friend!
😂 so funny 45 degrees being cold!Thats the temperature we get excited about!🙌🏻Ohio
It’s 18 today in the part of Idaho where we live ;) our kids play year round baseball and practice indoors at times but also start in outdoors in Feb snow rain or shine along with wind. So dang cold. They only stop for lightening🤣
We are headed to Florida next month and we are so excited and have never been! So looking forward to the warmer weather☀️
As always enjoy you sharing parts of your life 💕
We called one game in Colorado the”ice bowl” my daughter’s pony tail was frozen… yep you play unless there is lightening.
Love your energy! I drink coffee daily and my life is chaos lol. Soccer in Canada (Ontario) is indoor for the winter, lots of indoor turf in our area
I know what you mean about the house clutter but it doesn’t look cluttered. Nothing matches but it all goes together. I am trying so hard to accomplish that
Hahaha I’ve been a frazzled English woman for a very long time Kim 🤣🤣🤣
You know it's cold in FL when they close the golf course down! Here in Michigan, we finally had a high over freezing. A whole 37°F. And then the wind blew & it feels like it's freezing again. 🥶
Lots of fun and your Lasagna soup looked delicious!😊❤🙏
Ms. Ruby
hey hey lovely lady, hahahahhaha i sing when i am cleaning all the time ... then comes the dancing lol but the next day i do feel it a little till we do it all again lol .... couldn't be more true with how fast time flys and the kids grow so many pro's and con's 110% but to watch them grow into their own creativity and their new and outstanding personality's it wraps my body with warmth lol from our family to yours we all hope you have a wonderful day

Wishing it was 45 here! It was a brisk -22 just last week. Today snow squalls this morning but finally warming up to 17! Counting down to spring ☀️

Haha! Our kids in MN play soccer outside sometimes in the 30’s at the beginning of the season!
Wow! I had no idea thred up had that feature! I totally understand and agree, the need for help getting fashion ideas! Me too! Plus sizes make it a further challenge. Soccer is seasonal in cold states. We have Spring Soccer, and Fall soccer for recreation soccer. School soccer is a fall sport. There is some indoor soccer in the winter for more select teams.
We drove last September from British Columbia to Waco, Texas. Had one of the best meals ever at the Magnolia Table. Nancy
I live in Minnesota and last week it was -20 but felt like -40 with the wind! And now today the high is 40 🤷🏽♀️ it feels like summer!
I'm in Australia and it was 39 C / 102 F the other day! 🤠🔥
