Another wonderful, charming video. Thank you. I really, truly love your railway. I think it actually may be my very favorite GRR ever.
Hi A great running session and some brilliant camera work and narration many thanks for posting.
Absolutely wonderful, I love your railway, and learnt a lot from you too, its a joy to listen to you narrate too, Thank You for posting,
Yet another brilliant video of a great railway.
May a suggest converting a goods van into a tree lopper like the IMR van G12 to help cut back the overhanging branches/ massive leaves or introduce the dreaded "Hand of god" with a pair of pruning clippers. Again brilliant 👍
My brother visited yesterday and suggested that as well. We discussed how we could mount a strimmer (or three) on a loco. Probably easier just to get the secateurs out 😏
A joy to watch, thank you
Very Nice video!
Fantastic session, always a joy to watch your videos. I have noticed one of your coach roofs is warping at the ends, I did have a look through the comments section see if anyone else has mentioned it but I didn't see any.
@@rikbennett9 Others are also starting but not as bad, maybe some metal strips to reinforce
Well The Peckforton Light Railway get any sort of Express Train?
Interesting question. I suppose it depends on what is meant by express. The speed limit on the railway is 15mph because it is a light railway without continuous (vacuum) braking. However, an express could run from one terminus to the other without stopping at the other three stations. I suppose some of the special excursion trains are express, because they only run to Bulkeley to take passengers to the spa hotel.
Hi, what happens if a wagon has to be taken from either Bickerton or Bulkeley to the mill siding? As to my understanding this can not easily be done with the way the siding is facing, really enjoy these running session videos btw
Good question. Well observed. It does happen from time to time. Usually, I have a little diesel shunter (Doris) which potters about the timber yard at Peckforton. If a wagon needs to be dropped off at the mill Siding from further down the line, the the pickup goods drops it off at Peckforton and Doris will transfer it to the mill Siding.
@@rikbennett9 ah thanks for the reply I was wondering how you would handle a freight movement like this
Great railway! Where did you get your diesel sound?
It's a programmable sound module made by Alan Bond - www.forge-electronics.co.uk/index.php/boats/programmable
actully i was thinking about names for my locos i might own, i want #1 to be named rainier but i not sure about the others
Good idea to think ahead. My steam locos are all named after local villages while the diesel locos are named after people - either the Tollemache family or my own.
An excellent video. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
