I believe it's called that because they cancelled the line of Micro Machines toys, so they couldn't use the name anymore. I suppose it might be because of those Micro Chargers, which are the Hot Wheels equivalent to Micro Machines, but whatever...

I just completed every level, 3 stars and the second to last time trial where you have to collect clocks aswell as do 3 laps was pure hell

when i was lil some how the record button got hit on the vcr when i had micromachines on i guess. i watched the tape later for some reason and saw the beginning demo recorded and was amazed and blown away by the fact that gameplay from my 64 could be recorded. I only thought you could record tv and movies i didnt know you could record N64 gameplay or any gameplay for that matter back then.
now i cant stop recording gameplay and its ruined my channel lol.
