I appreciate you talking about the laser eye color surgery. Been seeing them for quite a while . It's very discreet and unknown. And a lot of the "clinics" are very sketchy . Just wait for better technology and research. These procedures are banned for a reason. You're literally lasering your eyes, which is insane and terrifying to me . Also imagine cutting your eyeball and putting a plastic lens to change your eye color. People do this too. .insanity .
Stick to lenses and leave your perfectly natural eyes alone from any lasers or knives lol

There’s more to eye colour than just melanin. The density of collagen is a very, very big part of it. That’s why there are blue eyes so dark they look almost black, or so light they look almost white. Since there’s no melanin in blue eyes, so the difference between almost black and almost white can be entirely due to collagen density. That means that many people who go through the risk and expense of this surgery wind up with eyes that are so dark, usually dark grey, that they basically look the same as before the procedure. People can’t tell the colour is lighter - unless the pupil is under direct light. Of course these clinics offering laser eye-lightening never tell clients that.
Beware of websites and doctors that only show results with this lighting, direct light that illuminates the pupil from within. It’s grossly misleading. It’s an even bigger difference than contacts under different light - and followers of this channel know how major that can be. If they don’t show how the eyes look indoors with indirect light, then they aren’t showing how they really look the majority of the time. People don’t sit around with light blasting in their eyes, so the results won’t really look like their ‘after’ photos.
Finally, I noticed the Eyecos website in Spain edits their after photos. They change the colour balance by lowering red and yellow, and cranking up the blue. You can tell because suddenly people have blue-tinted scleras, too, in the after photos, lol. People who point this out get no explanation - but their comments get removed. Its all very questionable, to say the least.

Hi Milz, I've been watching you for a while. I love contacts too. Been wearing them for years but I also love blue eyes and always wanted them. I'm Caucasian with blonde hair so blue looks very natural on me. The doctor is the video is correct, both laser depigmentation and implants are very dangerous and that's why they are banned in US. There's only one procedure that's approved by the FDA is Keratopigmentation. It's corneal tattoo pretty much that's been done for years to correct eye discoloration in people. It's completely safe and done with the laser used for Lasik surgery for vision correction. I had it done in January at Keratonyc with Dr Movshovich. It's a 30 minute procedure completely painless, a little recovery discomfort but a few days later you're back to normal. I have no complications, my sight is perfect. They leave you enough pupil hole so your eyes can dialate to see at night. They look natural from the normal distance, only when you get in my face they look like color contacts. You can watch my video about it on my channel.
Laser depigmentation can cause glaucoma and also color trends to revert to brown. It's very expensive because it requires multiple sessions while Kerato is one and done. Look it up. I'm so happy with my blue eyes, it's a dream come true! I know it's not for everyone but I still can wear contacts if I wants play with color. 💙

Getting laser surgery is giving self hate… it’s embarrassing and cringey. I promise you baby your natural eyes are beautiful. Wearing contacts are like a accessory. Don’t do too much

Thank you for this wonderful video, my dear. I am very afraid of wearing colored lenses, but it causes me discomfort because I suffer from dry eyes. What should I do or use, please?

I’ve done a hardcore 2 months of research on this. The doctor in your video said she looked for studies on pubmed for the lasers themselves, but the ophthalmologist that first developed this laser surgery for eye colour has released all his findings and studies on pubmed. I found them easily so she couldn’t have looked very hard. He also released a study last year in June 2023 that demonstrated that the procedure didn’t increase the risk of pigmentary glaucoma in the patients. Which is what the female doctor in the video said her concern was about. So just do your OWN research! Don’t just trust videos you see.

That is with anything! Everyone should do their own research and not trust anything they say!

This is so scary omg. I've known about this for many years. If I ever changed my eye color, I would make it darker LOL. I wear black lenses all the time cuz I like darker eyes. So if they made a procedure for that... LOL

They've been working on research forever, not sure it's ever coming to the legal market (in the US anyway). If it does, it's supposedly 5k+ $, so that's a big dent for such a minor procedure
I would want blue/gray, have hazel naturally.

Thank you so much for this post! I tried to dissuade a friend from this procedure, but she went and did it anyhow. She paid €4000 for it in Spain. Then when that didn’t work as promised, she went to a place in Mexico that some dude on Instagram said did his. That cost her $3000. $7500 later, and her eyes are actually darker than when she started.
She went in with beautiful, chocolate-brown eyes. Now the brown is gone, and instead they are such a dark, flat grey that they look almost black. If she shines a light directly into her pupil or basically looks at the sun, they look a lighter grey, but nobody walks around staring into the sun because that’s crazy and dangerous. Even with flash lighting her eyes still look almost black, like the darkest slate grey.
It’s a very weird colour, quite unnerving. I’ve never seen anyone with this sort of shade. Also, as Millz so correctly pointed out, they can only go so close to the pupil. Around her pupil it looks grainy, not normal. Maybe some people like their results and I’m happy for them, but the fact remains it’s risky in a lot of ways and I think most people would not be happy to have so little visible change, for so much money.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. People are too casual about surgery these days, and our eyesight in particular is not something to be careless with.
