Is it wierd that every time after summer break my first few days are always tears is the middle of the day cause for some reason i get sad when i am far from my fam after summer 😢
I’m from Hawaii and we had to move to Texas cause when Covid hit my dad couldn’t do his job in Hawaii. I miss my home so much and everything is so different on the mainland. I wish I could go back and the thing that makes me most mad is that when I’m older I’m gonna have to say I’m from Texas and I will no longer say I’m from Hawaii. I love Hawaii more then Texas it is my home and the thought of that makes me sad. Someone told me that Texas is my first home and Hawaii is my second but that is not true I’ve lived in Hawaii all my life and only lived in Texas for 2 years. And after 2 years I still cry about being homesick.
I’m from Hawaii and I feel this pain. I now live in Michigan with my husband. Me and family moved away after Covid when my father passed of a road accident. I start to think that if he never died that we might have still lived there. He was the breadwinner and my mom had to sell our family house in Hawaii and NY to retire on and provide for us.
Poor,poor girl. Homesickness is very normal.
