It was made in a fabricating facility and designed with autodesk inventor. It is an airlock that was used to let plastic chips and small pieces of cut of plastic tube extrusion call through it.
It worked very well and is still working today and it’s been an operation for more than 10 hours per day for the last several years. Some of the bushings have been replaced and we had troubles with the springs breaking at first until we made a couple of spring design modifications. We finally changed and went to a weighted arm instead of a spring.
I know it's an old video, but is that homemade? and for what application did you use it? How well did it work?
