junior Brown crosses so many genres he should've received instrumental awards across country, blues, jazz and rock with the way he plays all those chords, don't forget country swing, bluegrass and surf music as well lol....love Junior Brown and wife Tanya on acoustic guitar...
The one and only Junior Brown 🤎 if you said the man could play that's definitely the understatement of the century as he is a guitar players guitar player bar none
Saw him last year at Daryl's House. Unbelievable seeing him do all this live!!! Out of the five million notes he played, only one ever so slight miss. Truly under rated living guitar legend for sure.
Astoundingly refreshing like Barney Kessel or Herb Ellis playing country. If I was there I would have asked for "409". But I'm here and will now chase it down with the Beach Boys of course.
If there was any justice, Junior Brown, his lovely wife Tanya, and their two back-up musicians would be playing to a standing room only crowd at the Grand Ole Opry and Madison Square Garden instead of bottom of the barrel venues. Just saying. This guy is awesome!!!!
I have a seen quite a few vids of Mr. Brown here on the wonder that is UA-cam, and he is always reliably himself. Some might say a one trick pony, but what a trick it is!!!
Like Danny Gatton, Junior isnt afraid to mix up and mash up and learn from various styles of music. Obviously, the idea of "purity" in music, or anything else for that matter, is a myth !! A shame the audio quality isnt better.......
Agreed, they have the Pres on his mic way to hot and have no idea how to roll off some of the low end off of his voice between his own bassiness and the proximity effect of the mic the engineer has no clue. Let's hope the audience had a different mix.
The engineer needs to work their pre settings which are so hot his vocal mic is clipping, as well as scooping and rolling off some trouble frequencies on the vocal mic. Between his natural bass voice and the proximity effect on the mic it's a little overwhelming and over powering.
Sorry that you didn’t care for the show. You were the first negative comment that I’ve ever seen about Junior Brown. All those adjustments are normally done in a studio or by having an in house person with the proper equipment to do it for him. He has to limit feedback at times etc. The art of getting a performance like this on the air in this type of location is a challenge that most folks aren’t aware of. Most of us just love to hear them in spite of any minor issues that might come up. It’s just awesome to get to see and hear them at all!!!❤️👏👏👏
I really love country music, and classic country western music. I think the reason I really can’t get into this guy’s music is that it’s just one gimmick repeated over and over again. I really don’t like the songs he writes. Not to mention the fact that it seems like all his playing is half-finished ideas, out of time, half the time out of tune. Also, the reason people seemed to look upset is, this thing is god damn LOUD. They either didn’t have a sound guy, didn’t soundcheck, or something. But his amp is coming through his god damn vocal microphone. I’m a guitar player, and I love my amp loud, but when your amp is so loud that it’s distorting your microphone, you need to turn it down. He’s pushed right up against his vocal mic when he sings it’s overdriving it, so you can’t hear hardly anything he’s saying. Don’t get me wrong, he’s clearly got some chops, and he’s better than 80% of guitarists, but shit, this group needs a sound guy. He’s got his audience, which is good. But all I’ve seen is him saying that all the modern music today sucks. Which is just flat out not true.
Outstanding! He's a national treasure. He is the real deal. The one and only Junior Brown.

Junior Brown n'est pas très connu en France et c'est dommage , quel talent !

Video starts at 1:45

He made a mistake at 12: 17
Every one of his videos I just tried to watch 10 of them he's messing around with the amp kicking around with the plug guitar very unprofessional

I always feel kinda bad for jealous people. They must be miserable all the time.
This dude must be the greatest guitar player and singer/songwriter of all time. Talking shit on Junior Brown. What a dick
Junior we want you out in Saskatoon Saskatchewan 🇨🇦✌️
