Mentioning that wamp is 300k larger than xamp without mentioning why it's larger makes it sound like the extra size is useless. It is worth mentioning that wamp comes with 4 or 5 versions of php and you can change them in a second from the wamp menu. This is a huge time saver if/when you are working with web apps that require different php version requirements. Or if you're upgrading a web app to support a different php version.
@@ethiotech9161 I'm not sure I know the answer to this but, with xampp, I ?think? you need to install other php versions and switch to them manually by editing config files. With wamp, you select the version you want with a click a button.
On the other hand, we're not born with this information. I happen to know because I have some knowledge from years ago, and I am searching for a way back into it. But too many youtube videos miss out on the preliminary information, thus rendering them useless for some of us who are not web pros and need a helping hand. Far from being bored with the first part of the video, I appreciated the intro, even though I happen to know already.
really helpful..very clear and brief explanation..tqqq ..keep it up!!!
So nice of you, thanks!
