I think since this country has never been ruled by a dictator, people here don't sense how incredibly bad that is, or don't think he would. First off, tRump absolutely would, and after breaking the law like that, nobody wants to be punished, so how do you keep from getting punished? You use all of your power to eliminate anybody that goes against you, and put your loyalists in all positions of power so you can hold on.
