The gate cards are solely for the non-deck standard way if playing the game. The cores are for the pro 40 card deck way of playing :)

I'm trying to buy this for me and my brother but I wanted to know if theres any way to use the fusion side while playing the basic version of the game
If you land on a bakucore with the fusion symbol you flip the fusion bakugan card, or that’s how I play it
