This was informative. We don’t like nit-picking parks, where every-single-thing has a fee. We’re not going. Thanks for your honest and well-paced video. It was surprisingly the first hit.
We have a video coming out Saturday that shows you how to spend 0 dollars at Adventure Island besides cost of admission and parking. Unfortunately with theme parks they charge for everything. It is worth a trip at least once but you really don't have to spend a ton of money if you don't want too. Thanks for watching!
Oh wow. I totally forgot about adventure island. Hahaha. This July birthday vacation week is going to be EPIC. I can’t wait until that time comes. Thanks for the video
Colossal Curl looks like too much fun! Ouch on the the theme park prices, Lol! Great job as usual! ($10 dollar beer, LMAO!!!) Thanks for posting ~ London
@@noahkessler5500 we like the flashing lights but yes the better slides are vanishing point which is Mike's favorite and colossal curl which is my favorite.
great video. About to splurge on the bush gardens platinum pass and this is one of the included parks. Can't wait to check it out, we've done basically everything Disney and Universal have to offer and are looking to mix it up.
Right! You have to mix up and try all the places Florida has to offer. Adventure Island is fun but smaller than Volcano Bay and Aquatica. We had a fun summer with the kids there. It can be expensive for food and drink so we figured out ways to save money. Have fun with your new pass!
Thank you so much! We have two more videos coming out in 2 weeks about more stuff we did there. As we have been telling people, we have had fun there, but there are some issues. We wanted to visit this park because we had not been there in like 20 years. As people have mentioned there are better water parks. It is worth trying at least once though to form your own opinion. I would visit again sometime down the road. Thanks for watching and hopefully you have a fun time. When do you plan on going?

Is this a weekend or week day with all those people? I'm thinking of going but dont want to tons of people. Are the Tubes free to use on slides and lazy river?
We noticed it is more packed on the weekends. This was during the summer too. When they open in March it might not be as bad. All tubes are free on the rides. Some of the rides require tubes. Our favorite tube ride was the Colossal Curl. It is so much fun! Hope you have a great trip if you go!
Great video! I love Busch Gardens! I just uploaded a video of my first time riding Cheetah Hunt and found your vid! Subbed as well. Continue to grow your channel.
Thank you for Subscribing! We have never been on cheetah hunt but are hoping next year to get to Busch Gardens. We used to go all the time when we were younger. After having kids they asked to go to Disney all the time. They are older now so we will check it out again.
We have had a really good time going with our pass. Mike's favorite ride is the vanishing point. I like the Colossal curl and the lazy river. What is your favorite ride?
@@FloridaandBeyond The lazy river that is cloudy and filled with mulch? That is one of your favorites there? With not enough tubes? with people just using multiple life jackets under them to float around? That is your ONE of your favorites?
@@jaybeers5758 I love lazy rivers whereever we go. Unfortunately I do know what you are talking about with the mulch/tree leaves. They are trying to make it shady and tropical and it unfortunately gets in the water. There also needs to be more tubes because they can be hard to find. We never said it was a great park but we were able to have a good time with the family. It has it positives and negatives. Both Mike and I before this video had not been to this park in over 20 years so we wanted to see the changes. Do you have a waterpark you could recommend? Always looking for new adventures!
@@FloridaandBeyond We made the best of it and had fun but I wished we’d driven the extra hour to Aquatica. Same owners so Idk why such an atmosphere difference but aquatica is for sure nicer overall. My favorite water park is Typhoon Lagoon so it’s bummer that Disney hasn’t opened it yet. The wave pool is amazing and lots of fun slides that are spaced out to avoid over crowed areas. Volcano bay is great, it has it’s annoying quirks like you can’t walk from the parking lot, have to get on a bus, but it’s new and themed beautifully. The wrist bands help everyone wait if shorter lines without extra coast plus 1 long lazy river and 1 fast rapids like river. Hope this helps!
@@jaybeers5758 Aquatica is on our list to check out. Maybe we will do a pass for them next year. Volcano Bay looks awesome! We have never been to Disney's Typhoon lagoon. Thanks for the suggestions!
We had thought about getting the quick que pass but than we saw it only covers Aruba Tuba, Calypso Coaster, Riptide, Colossal Curl and Solar vortex. The only line that seemed long was the Solar Vortex. Everything else is under 15 minute wait for the most part. For us I would say no it is a waste of money.
I just went yesterday and even though it killed me to pay for the quick Q it definitely was worth it the least worth it out of any park but worth it for this one due to the weekend lines being so long. It’s frustrating because it only works on a few rides and you still have to wait once you get your tube or until you get your tube. We rode on slides about 10-12 rides So the pass ended up being around 4 to 6 dollars a ride and I would’ve paid that much to skip the line so in the end it ended up worth it. Still super frustrating but If your going on a weekend do it.
@@travisj8490 The price changes depending on the day & expected crowd- weekends are going to be $40-$60 a person. Week days will be cheaper of course. Good video. For a locals water park it’s definitely pricy. Being right next to Busch Gardens probably plays a part but for how much they charge you might as well take the long drive and go to Aquatica or Volcano Bay
