That reminds me I had a 1973 Volkswagen super beetle and replaced the heads on it that looks like a vw head cut down. When you started it up ot sounds pretty strong and no clanking or clunking so everything must be good. great job.
I am super happy for ya man, thing sounds freaking killer and Dad & I both enjoyed the video greatly. Thanks for getting this neat and funky piece of automotive history running solid again. I really got a kick out of your first drive video, I am super jealous and will have to go find me one of them little trucksters so we can start a Truckster gang
It would be awesome if you were able to pick one up. If you do get one we would need to talk Bryan into getting one. If you get anything from 1965 to 1968 I have a parts book and owners manual and I can send you a digital copy. It comes in handy having original part numbers for anything you may need. They can be titled and tagged so it would be a perfect around town ride.
This carb is a Carter model N. There were several different types of the Model N so it really has to be Cushman specific I believe. Cushman did use a few different brands so it doesn't have to be Carter. Try joining a couple Cushman groups on Facebook and ask around. I'm sure you will find one
Nice work!!! I’ve learned a lot watching!
Wow, it’s running! Good job man. Love the spittin’ flames 🔥 and adding it again to the ending of the video.

Is that a mini schnauzer with your beagle?
Yea, my sister was going out of town and needed us to watch her dog for a few days.
