Diet won't get you the results you want you have to exercise to stay in shape. Age actually has no effect in gaining weight its just that you get occupied with work and you have less time to think about fitness and health. Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger, he's in his 70's and he isn't fat, he may weigh a lot but that's muscle mass not body fat. Just doing cardio exercises like jogging, jumping jacks, crunches, jump ropes, etc... can help you stay fit when you don't want to look muscular. Just some tips from someone who's an athlete and who's studying sports science 😉.
