@@khaos6185 Reaves was getting the ball like that even when Lebron was out. The quality of the team isn't relevant. He's being placed into that role because he's shown that even when he's having an off scoring night, he can win the game with his vision.

There's regular season lebron, and then there's playoff lebron. Even at his ripe age, lebron can and will turn shit up. Lebron doesn't "load manage" in the playoffs. It's full throttle.

That whole sequence beginning at 1:40 was really smooth, was that a triangle offensive play?
They also did that play at 0:33 which they got it from their first option from the cutting Gabriel. But this time the Rockets blocked the cutting Beasley so they've went to their second option which is Lebron. If Lebron got cut there, he can pass it to Hachimura for an unguarded 3. Or if Reeves got cut before passing it to Lebron, he can pass it to AD at the side. Pretty good play lots of options.
No it’s not. It’s a modified version of elbow quick that the cavs used with lebron in his second stint. It starts off as an elbow quick and since option 1(Reaves Cut) and option 2(Back screen cut for Beasle) didn’t work, it turned into a spain pick roll with Lebron rolling and Beasley fading to the perimeter after setting a back screen ( He kinda slipped that back screen, but it would normally be a back screen)

The two flaws are erased once Lebron and this version of the team are on the court together. There are so many analysts who were unable to predict that in advance.

Comparing their second years.....Stockton in his second year was averaging 7.3 assists. Reaves averages 3.3 assists. But Reaves is a better 3 point shooter than he was. Stockton got much better at that by his fourth season. Reaves averages 0.5 steals a game. Stockton averaged 1.9 steals in his second year. It's too early to make such comparisons.
